| Sam sighed as she sat on the pen gate, as normal. She really felt horrible but she learned to suck it up and she cleared her throat when she saw her class.
" Okay class, today you'll be learning about gnomes." Sam said with a quiet sigh not really liking gnomes.
" What i want you to do is watch the gnomes and than wrte a paper about how they act and how to de-gnome a yard" Sam explained knowing it wasn't much. |

| Olivia walked into class and listened to the professor's instruction. She studied the gnome and wrote what she saw. - Spoiler:
Gnomes dig up and eat the roots of plant which then create damage to a garden. In order to de-gnome a gnome you'll have to swing them around until they are dizzy and then throw them beyond your yards perimeter fence or wall.
She knew it was short but she didn't really like gnomes and she's not really familiar with the creature. |

| Humphrey listened to the instructions, and then took a seat on the grass while he observed the gnomes. They were pretty funny little creatures, looked a lot like a potato on legs. This was the first time he'd seen them in real life, since he'd grown up Muggleborn. He wrote down what they were doing, and remembered what he'd read on de-gnoming. - Spoiler:
Gnomes are similar to moles in that they live underground, and they wreak havoc on a garden because they eat the roots of plants mainly. They also seem to like eating worms. To de-gnome a garden you have to swing them around, making them dizzy, then toss them over the fence or wall of the garden.
Having never seen gnomes before, he didn't know much about them. Part of him wanted to run over there grab a gnome, and toss him just for the fun of it. |

| Ethan walked up the hill and went over to the place where all the others are. He saw a couple of gnomes on one side. He sat behind Humphrey and listened as Professor Hawthorn told them what to do. He nodded, more to himself, and took out a fresh piece of parchment and an inked quill. He wrote down all that he know about gnomes and de-gnoming gardens or yards. - Spoiler:
- About Gnomes:
Gnomes are creatures most commonly known to infest gardens of wizards. They are also known as the Gernumbli gardensi, or sometimes Gernumblies. Gnomes look like potatoes with legs due to the fact that they have disproportionately large heads. They lives in burrows underground, like moles, and they dig up and eat the roots of plants. Gnomes also seem to like worms.
- De-Gnoming:
De-gnoming is an easy task. All you have to do is swing them to make them dizzy, and toss them over the fence. Another way of de-gnoming is by using Jarveys, the Gnome's natural predator, but it is considered much too violent and people seldom do it.
Ethan knew a lot about gnomes. But he thought what he wrote down wasn't much, and probably the others had written more. |
