Deva walked out of her office and sat down behind her desk. She looked out over the classroom, smiling to the students as they filed into the room. She waved her wand at the blackboard and the word ´Namara´ shone in the white chalk. She then turned back to the students. She waited for five minutes and then rose.
"Welcome class. Today, we shall learn the spell Namara. It is a curse, so do not use it lightly. We cannot use it all at the same time, as it is a lightning spell. Too much lightning, and you might just zap someone. Of course, I am here to hinder that from happening. Now, Namara is a very difficult spell, so if someone doesn´t make it on the first try, I will abduct fifty points from the person who laughs or makes any kind of folly expression, as well as a month in detention scrubbing the potties at the infirmary," she said calmly, but being deadly serious.
She could see it in the students face that they knew she wasn´t joking around. "Now, the spell is pronounced ´na-ma-RA´. Pressure on the last syllabic. Like lightning the movement of the wand is a rap down, halfway up, and straight down again, which also makes it a spell that isn´t easy to aim. Just imagine a lighting shape, and follow it. Now, line up and aim at the doll, like so," Deva said.
She walked down, aimed at the doll. "Namara!" she said firmly and lightning shot from the tip of her wand and sliced the doll in half, also making it burn. She repaired it and stopped the flames easily. She then turned. "Your turn," she said and walked back up to the desk, her wand ready to dispell the curse or repair the doll.
"Start," she said and watched on as the students tried until they made it.
