Nora twirled her hair around her finger in an absent manner as she waited for the students to arrive. The desks had all been pushed up against the walls of the classroom and stacked up so that the students had as much room as possible. Then, there was a long strip of carpet that was coloured blue right in the middle for the students to stand on and face one another. There were three of these strips so that all of her students could practice duelling against each other.

Just simple spells for today, expelliarmus and stupefy to start off, but they'd soon develop those skills and be able to perform things of more difficulty. She wrung her hands together and moved around to lean against the front of her desk as the students all arrived. "Pair up, quickly now, I don't have all day." She snapped at them.

Sophie walked in to class and stood at the back seeing as all the desks and chairs were out of the way. She waited for another classmate so she could work on today's lesson. She still wasn't very good at wizard duelling.

He walked into the class, and Professor Smith got down to business immediately. Humphrey spotted Sophie, and waved at her. Then walking over he asked her, "You want to pair up Sophie?"

Sophie and him had become friends last year. She had actually fallen into him once on the stairs. It was one of his funnier memories at Hogwarts, but they did get along pretty well.
