Nora stood up the front of the classroom with her back to the students that had arrived early. An advantage to being the Headmistress meant that you earnt a certain respect around the others, and tardiness was a problem that you rarely encountered. She felt a smirk cross her features as she traced her wand over the board, a white trail following where it went to form words. Once she'd finished, she turned to face her new students with a look of 'cross me and you will regret it' written all over her face. She rarely smiled at her students, for she enjoyed to add to the scary Headmistress effect.

She sat down at her desk and pointed to the board;

An Introduction To Duelling

"You all have your First Year's Guide To Duelling, I presume," she said in a cold tone. "You are to read the first section of chapter 1, and make sure you write down notes. I want to see your notes at the end of the lesson. You may begin." She leant back in her chair and picked up her own book.
