Aquila was raised by a single, up-tight and scolding mother, so naturally she is very laid back and rebel. She likes to do little things that irk her mother, like putting her feet on the table or not cleaning her room when asked. She is very reserved around people, as she was betrayed by a boy she was crushing on when she was younger and has never trusted people since.
Aquila was born in London, but her mother moved to Germany when she was 6 months old.
Aquila never knew why growing up, as whenever she asked her mother, her mother would go into cleaning mode. Aquila often enquired about her father, but her mother would turn cold and refuse to say anything. Aquila never found out anything about her past until she was 16, when she found a letter from her father addressed to her mother. She read the letter of apology at how he slept with that other woman, he was drunk and he loves her. Aquila confronted her mother and soon got it out of her, the whole life story. How Aquila's mother and father were in love, but a fight lead to him getting drunk and knocking up another woman. Aquila's mother and father tried to make it work after that, but he fell in love with Pyxis' mother and left her.
At school, Aquila fell in love with a boy named Lucian and afterwards, she married him and had her first child to him. She cured her cancer with the use of potions and all seemed well until Hugo threatened their existence. Desperate, the two faked their death and sent Aquila's daughter to Pyxis. Now, Hugo is dead and they have come out of hiding...
