Lucian is a incubus demon, he is older than he appears although he retains the mental age of whatever his form is at the moment, he can shift forms because of his ability to infiltrate dreams and find out how best to gain his energy he needs from the person that he feeds upon. Besides that he has a sister who lives in England as they cannot share the same hunting ground, he has never had a permenant partner as...obviously they all get a little 'tired' of him feeding on their energy.

That was until he met his girlfriend Aquila Wilson when they attended Durmstrang Institute together and since that time they have now become married, using his father and mothers old wedding vows and the runic ring he retained from his parents marriage. They have a child together and have now recently come out of hiding as a result of an enemies demise.
