Vladimir was born in a big family. He was the second eldest of 4 siblings, and he was the eldest among the males. He and his siblings never got along very well with their parents. Their parents always got mad at each other, and everyday, at least one of the siblings went to their room without supper. Vladimir was the one mostly sent to bed without supper, since he was the troublemaker in his family. His parents were killed by the Dark Ones when he turned 11, the age he was supposed to attend Durmstrang. Nowadays, he teaches CoMC in Durmstrang to try and take off the memory of his parents dying.
