Alcyone stood at the front of the classroom, waiting for the students to arrive. The tables were in their normal positions, unlike last lesson, and she was leaning on the front of her desk. She had her hand in front of her, her eyes haunted as she waved her wand around and moved various objects onto students desks. These objects consisted of pillows, t-shirts, shoes and a necklace. She pointed her wand at the last desk and the items whizzed to it. Now, each student could choose an object.

Once they'd all arrived and made themselves comfortable, she rubbed at her eyes and yawned. The bags underneath them, the bloodshot within them, and the horrified look on her face clearly displayed that their professor was not at all okay. She sighed heavily and rubbed at her face now, pushing her hair out of it. "You are to practice colour changing spells again on the pillow, or the t-shirt. On the shoes, you are to turn the laces into needles, and the necklace's colour can also be changed. Begin." She yawned heavily and waved her wand at the board.

On the board, the words now appeared;

For Colour Changing - Twirl your wand counter-clockwise and zig-zag it downwards, say 'Chemiae'

For Minor Transfiguring - Upwards flick and swish, say 'Arcanum Verto'

Ethan walked into the Transfiguration Classroom and sat on one of the seats. "Morning, Professor." he mumbled as he sat down. He listened as she spoke, slightly nodding afterwards. He looked up at the board, mumbling the spells without doing the wand movements for a while.

He took out his wand and pointed it towards the pillow. He turned his wand counter-clockwise and zig-zagged it downwards, saying "Chemiae." quietly. The pillow changed its color.

Meliae Winters made her way to the classroom and she made to the classroom of the transfiguration. She took a seat at one at the board. She wrote a bit what they had on the board about what they had to do. She wonder when they got to fun stuff beside the color changing she hope maybe second year lesson would be fun that is.

The teacher said to begin right she hope the teacher was okay. She hope she was okay all the same. She thought as she was done she would see about her all the same.She went about doing that she choice necklace all the same she took a seat back down at the same time she look down at the necklace. She start to twirl her wand counter clockwise and zig zag it downward."Chemiae"

Then it start to change color it was some what blue color a blue color which was some what good she watch the jewel change it color she look down she smile surprised she did it right she look up at the teacher she had did same thing she did before visualize it what color she want it to be. She smiled at the teacher she look back at the headmistress all the same to see if she was all right.

Rubi walked into the classroom and sat down at a random spot, somewhere in between the two other students that had arrived already. She looked up at the professor and her brows furrowed. She did not look good. Rubi bit her lip as she paid attention to what the professor was saying. But it honestly seemed like the professor was having some health issues.

She took a deep breath and decided to just do what Malfoy assigned them to do. She took out her wand, but practiced the pronunciation before she added the wand too. She tried to change the color, but she just couldn't manage. Transfiguration was her all time worst subject. When she had tried, like seven times, she finally managed to make the T-shirt turn green. She sighed in relief and then tried the jewelry. It went easier now as she had managed it once.

Then she moved on from the coloring to the transfigurating shoelaces into needles. She tried for ages. Seriously. After twenty minutes, she finally succeeded. And the needles were officially really sharp. She managed to prick herself and closed her eyes in exasperation. That concluded it: Transfiguration drove her crazy.

Jamie walked in and looked at the other three students. She smiled as she saw Rubi and went over to her. She pulled out the chair beside her sister and took a seat, looking up at the professor. Her eyes widened - she looked terrible. Haunted, almost. She looked tired too, like the weight of the world rested on her shoulders. She noted that this was the second professor she'd seen like this. She wandered what had happened - other than the disaster of the Christmas Ball - to make the professor's as tired as they were.

Jamie practiced pronouncing the word like her twin, then the wand movements. Once she felt confident that she knew what she was doing, she pointed her wand at the t-shirt and did the movements. "Chimae," she said commandingly, and the t-shirt changed a little - not a lot. She tried again, then again, and by her fourth time she'd managed to successfully turn the shirt blue. She beamed happily and looked over at her twin. It took her seven tries, but eventually she too got it.

Jamie then changed the colour of the necklace and found it far easier than with the t-shirt - as she knew what she was doing and had already practiced. She admired her handi-work, before moving on to the shoelaces. It took her several long, boring minutes but she eventually achieved her task. Un-luckily for her sister, she was not so lucky and had to wait 20 minutes before managing to transfigure it. And then, somehow, Rubi pricked herself. Jamie giggled.

Alcyone smiled at her students progress though she still felt incredibly weary. The search for Pyxis was proving to be pointless, they had achieved absolutely nothing. She sighed and ran a hand through her hair, tears in her eyes. She wiped them away and stood in front of her desk. "Well done everyone. 5 points to you all, class dismissed." She wasn't happy with the students who hadn't shown up, but decided she didn't have the energy to care that much.
