Jamie placed a hand over her heart in mock offence at Rubi's words. "Ah! That's mean! I can be clever, cheeky, witty, and sarcastic just like you!" Jamie protested as she turned her head away haughtily.

Jamie giggled as Rubi ran off ahead of her again, but this time she managed to catch up and ran alongside her. She panted for breath as she ran, pushing herself faster as she did so. She overtook Jamie and reached the stables just before her, panting. Once she'd caught her breath, she stuck her tongue out at Rubi and had a holier-than-thou look on her face. "Ha! Beat cha!" She exclaimed as she moved towards the stable door.

She stepped inside and walked over to Storm's stable. He stuck his head out as she approached, and she ducked into the tack room to grab a carrot for him. She walked back outside and held out her hand, allowing Storm to take the carrot. He munched it up gratefully and nuzzled against Jamie's shoulder. She giggled.

Rubi smirked. "It seems you can," she finally agreed.

Then, while they were running, Rubi pouted as Jamie managed to catch up with her, and then reached the stable, just before her. Rubi raised an eyebrow and pursed her lips slightly. But then she grinned again.

"Ah, whatever. I'm a good loser," she said with a grin.

Or, she was a good loser when it came to Jamie. But had this been anyone else, Rubi would probably have sulked for a little while longer, and planned her scheme for payback. But it was okay when it was Jamie.

Then she heard some neighing and she grinned widely. She followed Jamie, and picked an apple, splitting it in half so Amora could actually eat it without choking. She walked over to her beautiful, golden baby and gave her half the apple.

"How are you this morning?" Rubi asked happily, and Amora bounced her head, making Rubi laugh softly.

"You are ready for a nice ride, aren't you?" she stated.

She grinned at Jamie and then went to get the girth and reins, ready to saddle up.

Jamie stuck her tongue out in response to Rubi giving into her awesomeness. She patted Rubi on the head with a devious smile on her face. "Im glad you have seen reason, but you still have much to learn." She winked.

Jamie rolled her eyes at that, she knew all too well that Rubi was only ever a good looser when with Jamie.

"Whatever you say." She giggled. She felt that elated happiness she always got when with her twin.

As Jamie lovingly stroked Storm's neck, she heard Rubi talking to Amora and she turned around. She kissed Storm's nose before she walked over to Amora and patted her as well. Amora was a beautiful mare.

She then followed Rubi back into the tack room and went over to the saddle rack. She slid her arms under the saddle and lifted it up, the saddlecloth and black sheepskin draped over the top of the saddle. She carried this out and pushes Storm's head away as she tossed the saddle up and onto the gate. She then went back into the tack room, grabbed the bridle and Storm's grooming kit before walking back out. She draped the bridle next to the saddle and went inside Storm's stall.

When the two girls had saddled their horses, Rubi lead her beautiful mare out of the stable, and mounted her. She grinned at Jamie. "Oh, how I love to ride," she said happily.

She honestly couldn't see why people didn't like horses. It was like heaven to her, and she knew it was the same for Jamie. Rubi would rather spend her life in poverty with her horse, than be rich without one. Even though if she was rich, she'd probably be able to buy one. And in poverty, she might not be able to give her horse the food she needed. Dammit. Rubi fell into that thought, feeling miserable. If she had the choice, what would she do? She kind of knew the answer. She'd choose to be rich, as long as her horse got a fabulous place to stay where she got all the food she needed. She'd rather be miserable without a horse, than to be happy with a miserable horse.

She snapped out of her thoughts and grinned again at Jamie. "You ready? Where do we ride today?" she asked softly.
