Bill giggled as his sister, Kamille, tickled his tummy. Joseph just rolled his eyes at his four year old brother. "Kami!" He squealed as the girl began to tickle him mercilessly, and he was un-able to form any words after that as he laughed. After a while of choking on his own laughter, their mother appeared and looked down at the sheepish Kamille with disapproval. "Kamille! Your brother can't BREATHE. Stop it." She snapped. Bill gasped for breath as Kamille moved her fingers away and crossed her arms with a pout. "But mum, look at him, he's so adorable," Kamille pouted. Their mother raised an eyebrow, before she smiled and sat down beside her children on the picnic blanket. The sun shone brightly overhead as a few clouds drifted above. The grass swayed gently in the breeze, and a beautiful lake was near their spot. "Mama, up." Bill demanded, hands up in the air as he waved them around at her. She reached out and pulled Bill into her lap, hugging him tightly to her. "Cheese?" He inquired, pointing at the picnic blanket. Joseph fished some cheese out of the basket and then he began to set up the food.
Joseph handed a slice of cheese to Bill, who took it with a delighted smile and nibbled away at it. He wriggled off of his mum's lap and stood up, chewing on his cheese still. He moved straight over to the chocolate and was reaching for some when it was snagged away from his grasp by Kamille. "Aww, Kami," he pouted. Kamille ruffled his hair, much to Bill's dismay as he reached out an arm and focused hard. The bowl flew out of his sisters hand and into his hand. "Ha!" he stuffed the rest of the cheese in his face and then followed it up with some chocolate before Kamille let out a shriek of, "MUM!" And pointed at the chocolate. Their mother rolled her eyes and scolded Bill for eating the chocolate before his lunch. "Go play with Amalie while I find your father," she finished with. Bill nodded his head and walked over to his younger sister, with her shining locks of beautiful golden hair that ended just under her chin. She was pure adorable. He sat down in front of the 1 year old who was fascinated with her rattle. She lifted it up and then smashed it against the ground again.
Bill poked his sisters cheek, and she looked up in surprise. "Biww!" She squealed and shook the rattle again. Bill pouted at Amalie. "Let's try this again, Amy, we've been over it a lot. BiLL. BiLL. Bi-ll. The 'L' is at the end, not 'W'." He explained impatiently. Amalie's sparkling blue eyes clouded with confusion and she furrowed her brow. "Biwl," she tried again. Bill decided that was good enough and patted his sister on the head. She giggled and returned to smashing her rattle agains the ground. Bill stood up and promise Amy he'd be right back, sneaking over to Joseph and Kamille and stealing some cheese. He rushed back over to Amy and flopped down in front of her again. Amy dropped the rattle immediately and held out both of her chubby little hands for the cheese, which Bill ripped in half and handed to her, before shoving the other half into his mouth. Amy watched Bill eat his half with rapt attention, before shoving the cheese into her own mouth and eating it all with a huge grin. "Amy like cheese!" Amalie exclaimed, and Bill laughed at his sister. "Cheese is yummy." Bill commented, and Amy nodded her head eagerly in agreement and clapped her hands.
"Amy love Biwl," she then added after a moment of silence whilst Bill munched away at more cheese, and Bill smiled. He felt a bubbly feeling inside of him and he hugged Amy. "Bill love Amy," he responded. Just then, their mother and father returned and sat down, waving their hands for Bill to bring Amy over. Bill stood up and helped Amy to her feet, and they both walked back over to where everyone else sat. The family ate happily, laughing and chatting away. "After, we can go swimming in the lake." Kamille informed Bill, who looked excited. Joseph grinned and waved their bathers around to prove what Kamille was saying. "Swimming is fun!" Bill proclaimed, which was echoed by Amy who was sat in his lap. Bill munched away on his chocolate after eating his salad and his sandwich (good boy! Amy had told him) and had partly-melted some in his hand so that Amy could eat it too. She had chocolate covered hands afterwards, and a chocolate smeared face but looked very pleased with herself. They were all clearing up and putting the dishes away when everything was ruined. Amy handed Bill a glass, and he placed it into the basket when there was suddenly a series of 'crack's all around them and Bill saw strange people in white lab coats. Amy hid behind Bill and clutched at his legs. Kamille and Joseph both stared at their parents in fear, who looked white as ghosts.
Their mother recovered fastest and glared at the people in lab coats. "We told you," she growled. "Our son will not be used in any sort of experiment! He is our child, we won't allow it!" She growled. Bill looked up at Joseph, who looked down at Bill and they both shrugged in confusion. All the people in lab coats eyes went to Bill, who felt suddenly very scared. "Look at him! I can feel the magic radiating off him," one exclaimed, licking his lips. The others let out a murmur of agreement, which set off Bill's father. "Get the fuck away from my family." He growled, and then a series of jets of lights shot out of both his and their mother's wands. The lab coat people waved off the spells dismissively and their eyes zoned in on Bill, trying to battle through their parents to get to him. Joseph and Kamille both shared a panicked look. "They want Bill, why do they want Bill? Experiment?" Kamille looked tearful and Joseph grabbed his twin's hand. He looked down at Bill in panic, who had tears rolling down his cheeks. "We have to get him and Amy out of here, come on," Joseph, ever level-headed, grabbed Bill's hand now and began to tug him along. Kamille scooped Amy up into her arms and they ran along at full speed. It was a few minutes before they heard shouts of, "THEY'RE GETTING AWAY!" Behind them, and they all increased their pace.
They dived for shelter behind a bush and could see the road in the distance. If they could only make it to the road, they'd be safe they knew, because the hotel was in view. Then, they could floo back home. Joseph pulled Bill into his arms, his body shaking violently. "Bill, you have to get out of here. You have to," Joseph whispered desperately. "Take Amy with you, just go," Joseph pushed him brother away from him. Kamille grabbed Joseph and hugged him tightly, before handing Amy to him. Bill struggled to hold the 1 year old in his arms, but his magic kicked in and she suddenly seemed light as a feather. "Come, we have to hurry!" Bill squeaked. "GO!" Kamille shouted, diving out from behind the bush and pulling out her wand. "Expelliarmus!" She exclaimed, spell after spell escaping her. Joseph swiftly joined his sister, and Bill looked on in panic. There, he saw his parents lifeless bodies and tears ran down his cheeks. "Biwl, I scared," Amy whimpered, and Bill knew then he had to save Amy. Joseph and Kamille were already near defeat, he'd only loose Amy too if he tried to save them. He turned and ran for the road as fast as he could, but when he heard a scream he stopped and turned back.
He watched as the green light hit Kamille in the chest, and her body was thrown backwards. She remained un-moving on the ground and Joseph collapsed beside her, sobbing over his sisters dead body. He shook his twin violently and then became a pure ball of fury, murdering two of the lab-coat people before the others over-powered him and soon he was dead too, tossed beside Kamille's body. "JOSEPH! KAMILLE!" Bill cried angrily, clutching Amy close. They all looked at Amy in Bill's hands, and it clicked in Bill's mind that they were going to kill her too. For some reason, he just knew that they wanted to kill all of his family before they took him. He felt very angry at that - at the mean men. He put Amy down and sighed. "I love you, Amy," he kissed the top of her head and then focused as hard as he could, feeling a surge of magic and suddenly Amy was gone. He heard her name drift on the wind, but she was gone. Safe. Amy safe. That was important. His young mind began to shut down and he curled up into a ball. "You'll never get her, not my Amy! Never!" He bit at their skin and clawed as they tried to grab him. He sent out violent waves of magic, knocking them over and pushing them back before his body froze up and everything went black.
