| Anscom was excited for the date, despite his now confusion as he'd spent the afternoon with his favourite person, Val. She'd still shown no interest in him, not even a hint of jealousy as he informed her that he was going on a date with Pyxis. It had hurt more than anything, but only sealed the deal in his mind. He wanted to have that romance, that love that burned inside of you. He wanted all of that, and he couldn't have it with Val, so he might as well not even bother.
Anscom had worn simple dress pants, a belt, and a white button up shirt with his hair sleeked back and his dress shoes on. He wondered why Pyxis had preferred to meet him there rather than let him pick her up, but decided that she probably didn't want him to know where she lived considering that didn't know each other that well. For all she knew, he was a player.
Which he wasn't, but still.
Anscom walked in and murmured, "Table for two, under Turner," to the lady at the counter. She smiled and led him to a comfy table, where he sat and watched the door for his belle. |

| Pyxis stared at her hands which were wrung together in her lap. She was anxious, that was for sure, her stomach doing flips. She'd gone through all of her small amount of clothes, and was now trying hard not to freak out. She'd opted for a simple outfit, a summer dress with leggings and a jacket. Her ballet flats went along with this outfit nicely, but still she felt sick. She knew it wasn't because this was her first date since, well, forever, but more because she wished it was Parker. Anscom was attractive, a charmer, and a total sweet-heart from what she'd seen so far, which meant she should like him. He could be good for her, because Merlin knows Parker wasn't.
Parker was confused about what emotions he felt normally, let alone coping with her wild emotions. He was confused about everything, really, and they constantly fought and bickered. She always seemed to be angry with him over something, and he didn't even know if he cared about her in that way or not. So why was it, when a perfect guy like Anscom came along, that she couldn't get Parker out of her head? That cute little smile of his, the way his hands were so comforting and warm against her own, his arms wrapped around her small frame... STOP IT! She screamed at herself, an aggravated sigh escaping her lips.
That was it, she had to stop this. As much as she knew she would always compare everything Anscom did to Parker, she had to try and move on. She couldn't just hang around waiting for Parker, it was un-characteristic of the strong girl she used to be. She missed being that girl. Sometimes, she wished she'd never met Parker, but she would take that away almost immediately because she felt sick at the thought of being without him. Pyxis arrived at the restaurant and walked through the door, seeing Anscom. She smiled immediately. |

| Anscom couldn't stop the grin on his face as the moment her eyes rested on him, she smiled. He felt warmth travel through his body almost straight away at the smile lighting up her face, highlighting her beautiful features. How was it that everything she did came across as cute? Or adorable? He stood up and walked over to her, taking her hand and placing a light kiss on her pale skin. He stood back and admired her summer dress and ballet flats. These were complimented by her jacket and her leggings, which covered her up more. It made her look far more presentable to the public.
He saw a few flashes shine through the window, and he turned his head to look. The paparazzi were holding camera's, taking pictures. Anscom looked up as a waiter let out an irritated sigh and waved his wand, a special charm taking place that tinted the windows. Though you could still easily see through them on the inside, they were pitch black on the outside. Anscom grinned gratefully, but the damage was done. Not damage, actually, he didn't really care if people saw him with Pyxis. "Don't you look plain adorable," he grinned and took her hand, leading her back over to their table. He dropped her hand and pulled out her chair for her. |

| Pyxis blushed beet red as he lifted her hand and kissed it. She looked down at her feet and grinned, looking up at him through her lashes. She was suddenly blinded by flashes, before the flashes stopped and she rubbed at her eyes. She looked at the window and frowned. Anscom seemed fine with it, but she could already feel herself getting pissed off. What, so he didn't care if she was all over Witch Weekly? She crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows at him. "What was that?" She asked grumpily.
She rolled her eyes as he called her adorable and stuck her tongue out, allowing him to pull her along to their table as her easy-going smile settled back onto her features. She sat down and shuffled her chair back in, waiting for him to sit down as she rested her elbows against the table and placed her head in her hands. She grinned at him in an almost flirty way. "So, Mr. Handsome, what's the plan for tonight?" She asked teasingly. |

| Anscom had to struggle hard to not touch her cheeks lightly and make her blush even deeper - if possible - because he knew it would annoy her. Girls had this weird thing that blushing was un-attractive, which was so not true. In fact, it just made her look more adorable. Which was why he was attracted to the blonde in the first place. But, he was about to meet the fiery side of her. His smile slid off his face and he tilted his head at her with a confused look on his face. "What was what?" He asked.
He raised his eyebrows as she poked her tongue out at him and he poked her cheek in return. "Put that away, missy," he teased her. He helped push her chair in after she sat and moved around to his side of the table. He sat down and leant back in his chair comfortably, resting his arms on the table. Her flirtatious position made him grin. She was too cute for words. "I don't know about you," he waggled his eyebrows suggestively. "Only joking, love," he chuckled. "I thought we'd have a nice dinner, get to know one another, then go on from there." He nodded his head at his own words. |

| Pyxis was glad that Anscom chose not to comment on her blush, but she knew he was thinking about it by the way he grinned in an almost cheeky manner. She frowned at him, still not happy with the whole paparazzi thing. Her anger bubbled at the surface and she huffed at him. She wasn't just some stupid girl who liked to be in Witch Weekly, heck, people would think she was only dating him because he was famous! She let out an annoyed sound. "You know exactly what! I thought you'd at least have found some way to keep us AWAY from the paparazzi. I'm not some stupid bimbo, I don't want to be front page news of fucking Witch Weekly," she hissed at him, keeping her voice low to avoid attention.
She raised her eyebrows in return as he poked her cheek, and she swatted his hand away. He resisted the urge to poke it straight back out at him and merely huffed in return. "Why should I?" She grinned at him and shifted her weight comfortably in her seat, watching as he made himself comfortable. She grimaced at him and shook her head. Trust him to make a dirty joke, being a man. Parker would never be so crude - Don't even start, she warned herself. Instead, she faked a laugh at his joke. "Alrighty, sounds good to me. Though I must warn you, i'm a pretty boring person." |

| Anscom hadn't expected Pyxis to suddenly get fiery-tempered. Unknown to him, he was about to get in a very topsy-turvy, never boring relationship that would crash and burn. "Um, hey, chill, Pyx," he lifted his hands in a surrender manner. "Just ignore them! Geese, chillax woman it's just the paparazzi. Something new'll come up." He rolled his eyes.
"Because if you don't," a wicked grin appeared on his face. "I'll bite it off," he laughed softly and drummed his fingers lightly against the table as he studied her expression. He failed to notice that she didn't really find his reference the slightest bit funny. "I'm sure you're not!" He protested. "So, what do you do for a living?" He asked. |
