Rubi had been displeased with her verdict as a Slytherin housemember. She didn't hold anything personal to the house or anything, but she wanted to be in Ravenclaw. She didn't feel like she belonged here. She sighed and leaned back into the leathery chairs. She was liking the furniture though. And the green light in the room was also pretty fascinating. But it was still not Ravenclaw!

She pulled out a book with a sour face, and then opened it, starting to read. And not only was she a Slytherin, she was in the same house as that douche, Carey. She really didn't like that. The other girl in the common room could possibly be a nice person. She hoped so at least, so that she wouldn't have to be all without friends here. She sighed slightly and read the same sentence she had read seven times already. Trying to read it for the eight time and then the ninth.

She groaned and closed her book, putting it back down in her bag. She stared into the flames and leaned back. She needed to lighten up. She, who was usually so happy, was now moping in the common room where she had the chance to make new friends. She sighed and then looked up as she heard someone coming nearer.

Olivia felt so excited to be sorted into Slytherin! her whole family was in Slytherin and so is she now. She couldn't wait to make new friends. She head into the common room and saw a girl moping and decided to say hi. She walked to the girl and said "Hi, I'm Olivia. What's your name?"

Rubi, still a bit sulky, jumped as someone walked over and talked to her. She then blinked and tried to smile, managing slightly. "Hey Olivia," she said kindly enough.

She then reached out a hand for the fellow Slytherin to take. "I'm Rubi Wright," she said.

She wondered if it'd be a good thing to get to know some people from her own house, and then she wanted to hit herself; of course it would be a good thing! If this was how she was thinking, then she sure as hell would be a perfect match to Slytherin's house. Upon realizing that, her smile turned true and she beamed at the girl.

"It's really nice to meet you," she said happily, "Do you want to sit?"

Olivia felt happy that she will get a new friend. She took Rubi's hand and said "it's really nice to meet you too and yes I would like to take a seat thanks" she smiled to Ruby. She decided to get to know Rubi better so she asked "so tell me about yourself."

Rubi beamed at Olivia when she sat down. Then she sighed and thought about it. "Well, I was born in Liverpool, but grew up in Peterborough. I absolutely love horses, and I ride a lot of Equestrian, well, at least when I'm home. I don't know how much I'll get to do that now that I'm at Hogwarts, though," she said, feeling a bit sad at the fact.

She then looked up. "I'm also a muggleborn. And I never wanted to be in Slytherin. But here I am. What about you? What's your story?" she asked kindly.

Olivia finds Rubi's story interesting. She always wanted to ride horses but her father would not let her. He's very protective of her.

"I've always wanted to ride horses! It is fun? Well, the holidays are coming up soon so you can ride horses again." Olivia smiled

"I love the muggle world. I'm in love with muggle technologies. I have quite a few such as ipod and dslr camera. I guess you can never know what house you get sorted into. I'm sure there's a reason for it. Slytherin isn't that bad so you'll survive" Olivia smiled.

"Well, I'm a pureblood and my family have been Slytherins since the first generation I guess so it makes sense that I'm in Slytherin hehe. I was born in London and I grew up here. I love reading and art. I used to go to art galleries all the time. I enjoy photography and I take photos on my free time. My dream is to be a healer.
