| Slowly, Humphrey Williams made his way down the hall. Every movement pained him, and he was forced to crawl because of his consussion. No balance at all, his ears were pounding and sending waves of pain through his brain. His ribs hurt whenever he breathed, a duller pain though, not sharp like the pain in his left wrist. He thought the only broken thing was his wrist, and maybe a couple of bruised rubs. This was the most hurt he had ever been, and it sucked.
Finally, after a painful ten minute crawl, he reached the trophy room. He left the door exactly where it was so it wouldn't draw attention to anyone. Then he went into a corner and propped himself up against the trophy cases. Letting himself rest, he kept his wand in his right hand pointed at the door. If anybody walked in he would be able to surprise them with a stunner. He really hoped the next person that found him here would be from Hogwarts. It was just a matter of time until somebody searched the room, he knew. But, he just couldn't stay awake, and he fell asleep in the corner of the trophy room. Hiding while the battle raged on.
When he came to, he knew it couldn't have been long. The loud bangs had woken him up as soon as his body decided he had gotten enough sleep to function again. This was when he needed to use his brain, think. "I've got it!" he said.
Humphrey, being the studious type of person, and having an excellent recall. Had read reading that wasn't required for his year. It was a more difficult spell that had popped into his head. Bombarda Maxima, it was a large explosion. All he had to do was go towards the Great Hall, then stop outside it. Look in, see where the enemies were, and aim at a certain point on the wall. Since he was good at physics, being extremely talented in math and science when he went to Muggle School. He was able to figure out where the wall would fall, and how much force to put into the spell. If he did it properly, it could help end the battle. But, he knew if he messed up, it would cost lives. Time to use that brain of his in a practical situation.
