Basil reclined in one of the ploofy chairs in front of the Avis fire - which happened to be glowing green. Basil felt awesome since he was the one that had put the sea-water soaked log on the fire, which was now burning colourfully and brightly. It lit up the common room in a whirl of eerie green and it made Bas grin.

He was watching the green flames flicker about the common room when a shadow appeared in the flames on the wall. He turned around calmly to see a person standing behind him.
