| Henry had been lounging around his house all day, watching TV. It didn't take long, but soon he became restless. Such an action-packed lifestyle as his own meant he didn't like to just sit around and watch some people move around and try to be amusing. He stood up and began to pace in front of the tv, before bending over and switching it off. He continued to pace, hands clasped behind his back before an idea hit him. Why not ride his broomstick? He hurried to the shed outside of his house and opened up the door, going straight to where his broomstick was. Except, it was filthy, the twigs were in disarray and he needed to polish it. He didn't have a kit though, so he knew he'd have to go to the quidditch supplies store to get one - something he loved to do. He grinned and twirled on his heel, apparating to Diagon Alley. He walked straight over to the store and stepped inside, eyes flickering straight to the new models as a boyish grin spread across his face.

Clover hummed as she tidied up the back room of the store. Life was as usual, and today she was quite content. She finished shelving the last pot of twig glue and turned around. She was working front of house this shift and had no problem with that - it was easier, of course, but she did love her servicing. Clover walked back into the main shop and stopped just behind the glass counter. She pulled out her book and leant against it as she continued reading, flicking through the pages for some time before the store bell tinkled in a familiar way. Clover glanced up as a handsome man stepped into the store, a childish grin stretching his face. Brushing a curl out of her eyes, she smiled softly and returned to her book, ready to help if he came up and asked for any.

Henry couldn't help but ogle the new broomsticks. His was a little bit of an old model, being produced after the Nimbus Two Thousand and never become popular because the Nimbus Two Thousand and One came out shortly after his model did. He liked his broom, don't get Henry wrong but it was a little on the slow side, and was definitely old. Still, it wasn't like he was so professional Quidditch player, so it didn't bother him that much. He just liked the feeling of freedom that came with flying on a broomstick. The wind whipping through his hair, cool and brisk and fresh. He sighed just at thinking about it and dragged his eyes reluctantly away from the expensive models that he didn't need to empty his bank contents for. He looked around and decided to ask one of the worker's about a Quidditch kit when his eyes landed on one of the prettiest girls he'd ever seen. He fought hard against a smirk and settled instead for a casual smile as he walked over to the counter. "Excuse me?"

Clover was absorbed in her book. Each page just drew her deeper and deeper into the beautiful world in the pages. That happened to be one of the best things about reading - she could live out her fantasies any time she liked with characters she new so well they were like old friends. This book she was reading, she happened to be reading for the umpteenth time. She loved it with all her heart. A soft sound penetrated her thoughts and Clover tore her eyes away from the book and looked up into the smiling face of the man who had walked in earlier. She could swear her heart nearly skipped a beat - he was incredibly handsome and his smile just... it gave her shivers. Clover put down the book and smiled gently. "Welcome to Quality Quidditch Supplies, can I help you with anything?" She slid out the generic greeting with practised ease and a friendly demeanour.

Henry thought it was fascinating how interested she was in that book that she was reading. Her eyes were alight with fascination and she looked gorgeous. So captivated and she herself just looked beautiful. He shook his head to bring himself out of his daze and smiled at her as she tore her eyes away to look at him. She smiled back at him in a gentle manner and he had to fight hard to keep his smile from widening into a grin. He nodded his head as she welcomed him and asked if she could help with anything. "Yes, could you help me find a broomstick kit? My broomsticks, well, absolutely disgusting at the moment and could really use some polishing and all that."

Clover put her book down properly this time, and stepped out from behind the counter. She could feel his eyes boring into her face, and the sensation made the blood rise to her cheeks. His smile was contagious and quite frankly delicious, but Clover could only remember the warnings her mother constantly threw at her. She couldn't bring herself to imagine that this man was like anything her mother scared her about, but you never know. "Sure," she said, gesturing for him to follow her. "They're just over here. Oh, and if you can't find anything you like, did you know we run a broomstick servicing service?" Clover thought to go back to the counter, but she didn't. It looked like her new customer wasn't finished with her just yet.

Henry battled a grin as he saw her cheeks tinge pink at his intense gaze. He refrained from saying anything, but was slightly flustered at how she managed to look adorable while blushing. Normally, girls just looked like a tomato to him when they blushed, but she looked shy and... cuddly? He shook his head. He followed after her as she lead him over to where they were, his eyes immediately sweeping over the rows of broomstick kits. "Really? I never knew you did that. Then again, i've only ever come in her to ogle the new models, then i'm off." He smiled at her and then turned his attention back tot he kits. "Which do you recommend?" He asked.

Clover couldn't help but notice the constant twitching of the man's mouth. It was like he was trying not to burst out laughing. What was so funny? Clover followed his gaze to the shelves of broom kits and nodded thoughtfully, instantly distracted. She grinned and shook her head knowingly at his comment. "I know that feeling all too well," she answered. "Now, as for recommendations, I would suggest this one" - she reached up and pulled down a fair-sized kit box with a very manufactured, rusty look - "because of the variety of the contents. It comes with a polishing cloth and a twig pruner, but if you're looking for something a little less on the expensive side then a Mary Brooder's All In One Kit would be perfect." Clover turned and beamed at him while holding each kit out for inspection.

Henry was un-aware that his attempts to smother wide smiles at how amazingly beautiful this stranger was were noticed by said stranger. He continued on talking and examining the broomstick kits blissfully un-aware of his situation. He was finding it increasingly hard not to stare at her. Henry was the kind of man who appreciated beauty, and she was very beautiful. He grinned at her and immediately ticked off another box. She liked quidditch, she was beautiful, she actually had a look of intelligence in her eyes, she was friendly, and she was adorable. "Money's not a problem," he said immediately. Being an auror meant he was paid very, very well. He reached out to take the kit gently from her hands, his fingers brushing against hers. He felt warmth spread up his arm and he paused for a moment, before taking the kit and opening it, trying to ignore the feeling he'd just experienced. "This looks really good, I think i'll take this one. Brilliant service, by the way." He winked at her.

Clover was finding it increasingly hard not to become incredibly flustered under the charming stare of her customer. She pursed her lips in a smile of refrain (or something). His stares were getting longer and longer and the hairs on the back of her neck were prickling with that awkward shyness she always got when someone took an interest in her. He grinned at her and she couldn't help but smile back, just as broadly. Reaching out his hands to take the box, there was a moment of barely intimate eye contact between Clover and the customer, and then her fingers felt incredibly warm and tingly over the spots where their skin had made contact. Clover repressed the urge to snatch her hands away and managed to condense it to just a mild twitch of her fingers as the kit was lifted out of her grasp. She chose to ignore the wink, but knew her cheeks were flushing scarlet, and instead replied with, "You're very welcome," as professionally as she could muster through the lump in her throat.
