Marianne entered La Crème Glacée with the intention many had; to get ice cream. It was still summer and although it was ending she wanted to end it by getting just a little ice cream. Mint Chocolate Chip or Rock Road? Definitely mint unlike Giselle who loved Rocky Road. Chocolate was just an odd flavored ice cream but she liked it over vanilla in her opinion. Getting her order she sat by a table and ate quietly. Then she noticed a girl that looked familiar wandering around with her own order. The first thing she noticed? The mint chip ice cream in her hands.

"Excuse me do you need somewhere to sit?" She asked when the girl barely passed her table. After all she had time to kill until her twin got here.

Aurore breezily stepped into the ice cream parlour, her eyes scouring over the crowd before her. Her nose wrinkled in disgust as a giggling little boy ran past her, and she ignored those who smiled politely at her as she walked past. She stood by the counter and stared at the different ice creams, before deciding to be plain and going with her all time favourite - bubblegum swirl. Once she'd ordered the ice cream, she licked it and looked for a place to sit when she saw a familiar face.

She saw her ask another girl a question, but Aurore cared not for there was her cousin, Marianne whom she'd met on a few occasions. She strode over to the table Marianne sat at and took a seat beside her. "Marianne!" She exclaimed, a half-genuine smile on her face.

"Aurore!" She replied with a smile. Marianne remembered seeing her at a few gatherings. Honestly, Aurore was one of the few cousins she could tolerate. The one problem that she had with the girl was that she had a strong dislike for flying, but that could always be overlooked. Forgetting the girl she was just talking too she gestured for her cousin to sit. "So how have you been these days?" She asked checking her nails before once again facing her cousin.

Looking out the window to see if Giselle was there yet she saw her through the window at the nearest bookstore. Honestly, she spent most of her time there these days. "What's the latest gossip today, hmm?"

Out of the many members of the Delacour family - including those stupid Weasley's and Potter's - Marianne and her twin, Giselle were some of the only cousins of hers that she could stand. The others were all too... she just didn't find them interesting or amusing. She found them dull, boring, irritating and annoying, and she was far superior to them all. Marianne and Giselle were a duo that she liked, even if it was just a little bit. Aurore smiled at the gesture and graciously took a seat. She sighed when asked how she'd been. "Alright I guess, terribly bored though. I've had nothing to do, and get this, I ran into this girl the other day and she had the nerve to snap at me and was completely rude!" Aurore exclaimed indignantly.

Aurore followed Marianne's gaze out the window, and through yet another window of the bookstore she'd been in when she met the other girl. Giselle looked quite content among the books, and Aurore chuckled softly. She took another lick of her ice cream before her gaze was cast back to her cousin. "Word on the street is that some woman is trying to become the next Dark Lady." Aurore said in a quiet voice so as not to raise anyones attention.

"Well who isn't bored, at least school would it be starting. It might spice up our lives a bit. Did you get her name? There is a chance after all that she may go to Beauxbatons and all," she replied. Some people these days just had no manners. Taking a bite of her ice cream she glanced around to see no one new come in. Hearing what Aurore said next caught her attention.

"A new Dark Lady? Does she hate muggles and muggleborns too?," she asked lowering her voice a bit. Her parents kept her away from the all news and this was something that would have kept her occupied instead of being bored as hell.

Aurore nodded her head in agreement - though she highly doubted it. School would most likely just be a drag, though if the two put their heads together and caused some mischief that could qualify as interesting. "Yes, it might just. Especially if we cause problems, pull some pranks, that'd be fun wouldn't you agree?" Aurore smirked at her cousin. "I didn't get her name, but im sure she might attend Beuxbatons. If she doesn't, good riddance, if she does, all the more fun for me!" Aurore chuckled.

Aurore pursed her lips and shrugged. "Im pretty sure she's trying to follow in Voldemort's footsteps." Aurore whispered to her cousin. No one seemed to be aware of their conversation to the relief of Aurore.

"Well pranks of course," Marianne grinned. Obviously pranks would be a big thing that would happen in the coming years. "I see your point," she chuckled. Pranking was something she was looking forward too and this mystery girl seemed the best target in her opinion. The whole summer she had studied for spells and made ideas on what to do.

"Ugh that would be good. So much chaos could happen and that war lasted like 12 years or something. Although I don't necessarily associate with muggles they aren't that bad." Taking a lick of her ice cream Marianne glanced around making sure know one was listening.
