Sabine was quite sad that only one student came to her class on the previous lesson. She hope that her students will come to the lesson.


”Good morning! Today we are going to explore the past seers and discuss their effects on what we know as Divination today. Other than seers, other type of being that can see into the future are Oracles. An oracle was a person or agency considered to be a source of wise counsel or prophetic opinion, predictions or precognition of the future. As such it is a form of divination. In ancient Greece, Usually Oracles were generally female and known as priestesses. They were able to provide the people with insight into the future through communicating with the gods."

She continued "However, Oracles really died out after a while and were replaced by prophets as a primary means of seeing into the future. Does anyone know any seers or Oracle?"

"Now Michel de Nostradamus was born sometime in December of 1506 and died in July of 1566. He was a widely known French apothecary and seer during his life, and even today, both the wizarding community and muggles respect him as the most knowledgeable seer to have ever lived. His book Les Propheties is actually the base of most of the Divination Textbooks." Sabine explained

Lux walked into class and smiled at her educator. She listened to her educator and took notes. She didn't know any famous oracle or seers so she kept quiet.
