More Information

Born the Duchess Ella-May Schneider, she was raised in numerous palaces in the scandinavian region. She was treated the same as her princess cousins, but never received as much attention as the spotlight was always on them. Her brother annoyed her to no end and she felt as if her home life was incomplete.
The day she became of age, Ella-May lost herself in a woodland surrounding Neuschwansteing Castle, one she'd never explored before. She did not realise it was the home of a very powerful, very old Banshee. She was wandering through the trees, trying to find her way back to the path, when she stumbled over the Banshee's comb (though she did not know it at the time). Being who she was, she picked it up and endeavoured to find the owner. The second she moved from the spot, the banshee swooped out of the tree above her and placed a curse on Ella-May, for 'stealing' her comb.
The curse changes Ella into a snow-leopard for every day of the year bar one - the full moon. And even then, she is only human while the moon is shining. Her brother has followed her about, as their relationship dramatically changed when she did not return home for her birthday banquet. (A search party had been sent out, but since the curse was already in order, they did not find her, and she has been 'missing' ever since.) David is now continuously searching for a way to break his sister's curse, and has taken it upon himself the responsibility of his sister's wellbeing. Ella is grateful for the help he provides and the effort he puts in to her case, and hates the lonely periods of her transformation when she cannot converse with her brother and instead must remain a leopard.
