| Carey was just getting more and more angry. His face felt red as a beet and the hairs on the back of his neck were standing up. No words he was saying was making anything any better and she was still just mocking him. He brought his hands up and shoved her weakly by the shoulders, probably hardly even moving her back. "Why won't you just shut it!?"
He practically snarled, getting more upset, "You really just don't know anything- once you do, you'll feel like a right idiot! And then we'll see who's laughing!"
A bit of a ways away Carey heard loud voices talking which he recognized as his father's and his older brother's. He groaned and then cursed under his breath and grabbed the girl by the wrist. He did NOT want to her point them in his direction if they passed by her. And from the sound of it they still hadn't noticed he'd left. Damn them. He started to walk quickly away from the voices.

| Jamie pressed her lips together as he seemed to blow up at her - again. She couldn't be in a more funny situation, though she knew that if this were Rubi and Carey, they would be in a full on shouting match. She giggled at the thought. "I don't wanna shut it though, I love to talk." She pouted as she put a finger on her lips and giggled again. She barely even noticed the shove, until a moment later when she realised she wasn't in the same spot, and that was what he'd been doing with his arms.
Jamie raised both of her eyebrows instead of one like her skilful sister would've. "Alright then, i'll take that into consideration." She said skeptically. Mad? Yes. Yes, he was.
Jamie stiffened as she heard something, but relaxed when it was just voices. There was a family of 3, a little girl and her parents, who often took walks through the forest. It seemed though, that these voices distressed Carey and he grabbed her and began to tug her away. She hissed. "Let me go! Get off of me you freak!" She screeched, her voice echoing throughout the forest before she bit him and made a break for it, right towards where the voices were. |

| "Oh, yeah, I bloody bet you do! You'll pay for a mouth like that one of these days!" he really wasn't one to talk though. Her giggling at him was just making him more and more frustrated. She didn't believe a single word out of his mouth, she thought he was absolutely barmy and it drove him mad. People like her would never understand until it was put right in their face. And even then they'd doubt. He'd really love to see the look on her face when she got her blasted letter.
He should have known what a bad idea it was to grab her, but he just freaked and all he thought of was getting out of there. With her scream his head shot towards her. "The hell are you thinking! They'll find m-" he yelled out in pain, pulling his hand back quickly. She BIT him. What the hell was wrong with her! He stared at her wide eyed, holding his hand. Noticing she was running towards the voices he ran a few yards and hid between a tree and a bush, breathing hard. Damn it, she was going to give him away. |

| Jamie felt herself blush bright red as he said that, and she wished she could be Rubi. "W- no, but, no it won't!" She responded, her hands on her hips as she frowned at him. She was beginning to dislike him even more by the second, but she did like that he seemed just as annoyed, irritated and flustered as herself. Normally, the other person would just look at her in distaste whilst she stared at her feet and let Rubi fight her battles for her. She didn't like fighting, but she couldn't help it when she was alone and this boy was the rudest she'd ever met.
Jamie barely registered his words until after she'd bitten him, and she wondered why he was scared of the nice family that walked. Had he attacked the girl or something, had be been mean to them? It honestly wouldn't've surprised her if he had done something bad to them, he seemed like just the type. She ran until she felt herself collide with a much, much taller boy than her and looked up at a teenager with features that sort of resembled the crazy boy behind her. "Oh, sorry!" She exclaimed as she stumbled backwards. |

| Carey groaned as he slid down the side of the the tree, sitting and trying to make himself less visible. He was trying to calm down his breathing and was looking down at his hand where a dark red bite mark was. He cursed under his breath, making a mental note to make sure his house elves checked it to make sure he'd not catch any crazy from her. He glanced back around the tree, seeing she'd run right into his damned brother, Ripley. Damn it, she was going to give him away, he thought, sitting back and glaring ahead.
The taller boy she had collided into raised his eyebrows. He looked much like Carey could have if he was older but had curly hair and a stronger build. He glanced at his dad who was with him and held a resemblance to the both. The boy smiled a most friendly smile, "Oh, hey, sorry about that. Didn't see you there." The older man standing beside the boy had seemed caught off guard and was putting some stick back into his trouser pocket. |

| Jamie suddenly felt her confidence vanish and she became normal, shy, blushing, quiet, bumbling Jamie that allowed her twin to fight all of her battles whilst she watched in complete silence. She took several steps away from the duo who looked like the other boy, her eyes fixed on her shoes. SHe realised that these must be who the boy was hiding from. She wondered why on earth he would want to hide from his brother and father - most likely - but she remembered he was insane and shrugged it off mentally.
Her eyes flicked up shyly as her cheeks flushed red and she shoved her hands into her pocket, her lips pressed into a thin line. She studied the boys brother, he looked like an older version of him but with a far stronger build and curly hair. She was worried he'd be hostile like his younger brother, but at his friendly smile she smiled back. "Thats okay, I was just running away from this boy. He looks like you, he might be your younger brother? I should watch where im going, sorry." She blushed again and looked at the stick that was being put back into his trouser pocket. |

| Seeing that the girl was withdrawing into herself, the younger man softened his smile, looking to his father. "Pop, I think we've run across a meek little deer." he looked back at the girl, running a hand through his curly hair. He had a puzzled look on his face as if it was hard to believe someone so shy existed, as their family had always been so outgoing. Though his smile came back when she did. He shrugged off what looked to be a heavy hiking bag, setting it down at his feet with hardly a sound or any effort.
The two men laughed at her saying she was running away from some crazy boy that looked like them. The older man, glanced around him, murmuring that he could have sworn he was following right behind. The young man looked at his father. "That would be Carey, always running off, he is." The older man sighed saying that the boy's mother was going to kill him. The younger man just chuckled nodding his head. He looked back to the girl. "Really, no problem at all. You're not lost are ye?"
Carey groaned quietly, getting onto his knees, planning to try to crawl away from them. Because if he didn't move, they'd find him in minutes. |

| Jamie flushed red as he calle her a 'meek little deer' and took another step back. Her head was ducked as she tried not to stutter out an apology or run away squealing to Rubi whom she hoped would protect her. She wished Rubi was here right now to do all the talking and not make her look so pathetic, but now she was put on the spot and un-sure of what to do. Jamie looked back up as the curly haired boy pulled off a hiking bag and set it down at his feet. Her eyes widened a fraction in shock as it appeared to be quite heavy and he didn't even look as if it were difficult to pull it off and place it down without a large crash.
Jamie smiled softly as they laughed, though it was a hesitant smile. She heard the older one mumble something about said crazy boy was following right behind them, and she frowned at this. Jamie couldn't believe that they hadn't noticed he was behind them, were they really so distracted? Maybe it was why he acted a little crazy, because he was always being forgotten. Jamie shook her head as she was asked if she was lost, though she found it hard to respond with her nerves being jittery. "U-uh, n-n-no I wander h-he-re all the t-t-time." Jamie stuttered and tucked a lock of hair behind her ear.
Jamie then took a few steps backwards and turned back the way she'd come. "He's over that way somewhere. He's not... mad, is he? He kept going on about magic, wood nymphs, werewolves, stuff like that." Jamie said in a slightly less nervous tone, though her voice cracked in a few places. |

| The younger man tilted his head a bit as she stuttered, he looked a bit unsure "Er, I'm really sorry, I didn't catch most of that." He sighed, "Calm down, we're not going to hurt you or anything..." he frowned a bit, thinking he had done something to make her think they were threatening.
He glanced at his father as she took the few steps back. Both of them went silent when she started talking about Carey and the things he was taking about. The father closed his eyes and shook his head, looking bothered. The younger man seemed to be thinking before he spoke. "Don't worry about little Carey, alright. We're sorry if he bothered you. Sorry if he scared you or anything too. He harmless...just an active imagination is all. "
Carey could hear all this as he was still trying to crawl away and he groaned to himself as he thought he had almost gotten to where he could get away. But his brother and father heard the movement and looked right to where he was half hidden. Carey's father took a few steps forward towards him, muttering under his breath a bit. He then yanked Carey up of the ground by his shirt, telling him that they had to go home right away. Carey pulled away from him, stumbling up, which stretched the collar of his shirt out, yelling to let him go. His older brother just watched them and then looked to the girl. "Er...sorry, pop doesn't like when he wanders. You know...you should go." He shrugged, "I'd go, but I live with 'em," he joked, smiling a bit at her. |

| Jamie cleared her throat and ran a hand through her hair. She was getting more and more embarrassed as the minutes passed by and she hoped she'd be able to talk without stuttering if she spoke a little slower and focused on each individual word. "I s-said I wander here often," Jamie smiled warily at them, and she couldn't help but giggle. "Im just not good around people other than my family." Jamie explained.
Jamie didn't realise she'd been acting so timid. She knew she was shy, but it had never shocked other people so much before. They just smiled and tried to make sense of her blubbering, taking the time to get to know her until she could speak normally and opened up a little. It seemed she hadn't needed that time with Carey, just the sight of him made her confident and sarcastic. "Oh, okay. He was alright." Jamie wasn't a dibber dobber, and so she merely smiled and said nothing else on the matter.
Jamie clapped her hands to her mouth as she heard movement and she watched as Carey's father walked towards where the sound was. She saw a bush quiver and she bit down hard on her lip as she heard his father mutter under his breath before he yanked him up by his shirt. Carey looked like a whiney, pouty child as he yelled for his father to let go and Jamie couldn't help but giggle at him. He was such a freak, she thought to herself. 'Active imagination' her arse, the boy was nutters. She turned back to his older brother and giggled again as a light blush made its way back onto her cheeks at his words. "Good luck." She waved and with her hand in her pockets she walked over to a tree with lots of branches, climbed up into it and hung upside down, not wanting to go home just yet. |
