She'd originally initiated the kiss, thinking it would be a boring old kiss with a stranger. It wasn't long before she had to come up for air, gasping. When she did, her stomach did a really big flip at the fact that it was Alec. He's one to talk, she thought. He was fantastic! His lips were softer than they'd looked, and his hands...
Victoria had always had a thing about guy's hands. They said a lot about a man. His were strong and adventurous. She hazily wondered if she'd have bruises on her hips from her grip. It made her grin lazily, thinking she'd have a reminder in the morning. Especially since he seemed to be saying goodbye.
His talk of a penthouse made other parts of her squirm and she nipped at his lip when he came back to her mouth. She watched him walk away and fought not to follow him. Gripping the handle of the front door, she whispered, "Most definitely!"
She managed to walk into the hallway and shut the door behind her, leaning on it for a few seconds replaying the last few minutes in her head. Merlin... She hadn't thought she could react that way to someone ever again. At least not this soon. She walked past the living room and stopped when she saw Tess reading. Mumbling a "Goodnight," she slipped upstairs to her room.
