Paula swung down the railing to the deck of her yacht. It was clean and clear, for once. She grinned. The lake she was docked in was calm, crystal blue and looked lovely for swimming in - even if it had just turned to Autumn. The last remaining hints of summer buzzed around her head as she turned to the side of her ship and pulled her hair back into a ponytail.
Paula slid out of her shirt and shoes and vaulted over the railing, landing with a splash in the cool water. She pinched her nose and tried to open her eyes under the water but it was too late - she'd already surfaced. Grinning, she swam back a stroke away from the metal of her boat, and drew a deep breath. Paula dolphin dived back into the water and wiggled until she was moving.
