Heather grew up living a muggle life. Although, she was taught about the wizarding world by her mum who also attended Hogwarts as a young girl. Heather was told to keep it all secret, but sometimes Heather would talk too much and reveal a few things. She did learn that her mother inherited a unique power from her mother and that Heather had inherited it as well. Both her and her mum were Metamorphagi. When Heather got her hogwarts letter, her mother told her she was the only witch of her four children. Heather was very excited to come to school. She promised her mum that she would do her best in school, just like she did her best at her muggle school back home.
