Jaycie was excited. She washed off her hands and dried them on her apron, before taking it off and slinging it on it's hook in her red apartment kitchen. Jay checked everything was in it's right place and everything else was clean and tidy before going to get changed.

She was entertaining tonight. She'd invited her mother, her sister, the Malfoy's, the Greene's. All her friends had families now, and she was ecstatic to have them over for dinner. The place would be buzzing- it was going to be a fantastic get together.

Jay took the curler away from the last strand of her hair and admired the little blonde curls that bobbed at shoulder-length all in the mirror. They were tiny but pretty, and they almost looked like she'd crimped her hair. Picking up her soft-bristled brush, Jaycie teased out the curls to make them more natural looking, and bobby pinned some behind her ears so that the rest would form a nice frame around her face.

Stepping back, she admired her outfit in the mirror. Jay had chosen to wear a classy, midnight-blue dress with a turtle-neck cut that fell down to just above her knees and hugged her body nicely. She'd gotten it on the cruise and it tended to sparkle just a little when she moved. Jaycie glanced at her shoes - blue velvet platform heels with open toes. Not bad, she thought. And not too high either.

Stepping out into her apartment, she checked on the food and then lit the candles. No sooner had she lit the last one on the dining table did the doorbell ring. Smiling, Jay rushed to open the door.

Anne looked in the mirror over her sink and smiled at her reflection. She looked pretty good. She had her long red hair up in an elegant twist with a few pieces falling on her face. She smiled only seeing the faint outlines of the scars. She was relived to have found that make-up all those years ago. She looked at the brown eye-shadow that highlighted her green eyes. The bold red lips. She smiled and stood up looking at the dress. It was nice knee length and purple hiding the little bit of a tummy she had yet to lose. She had wisely worn flats, they were black and simple. She smiled and walked out to grab Sofia and DJ.

She had one baby in her arms or rather in a carrier and another holding her hand when she arrived at the Party. She smiled down at DJ who was growing up so fast. He was already two. She sighed as she looked at the bag on her shoulder. Having two young children was hard but worth the effort. She wisely brought cheese and crackers though it wasn't yet assembled. Both the food and the plate were sitting in the second bag on her shoulder.

She managed to ring the door bell and waited for Jay to ge the door. Smiling warmly at her when she did. "Hey" She said smiling hugely. "I would hug you but all my hands are taken." She joked hoping Damien would get here soon with Lily.

Caelum was super excited when he received an invitation from Jaycie. He wished that no one else was coming, but he doubted he'd ever get an invitation from the beautiful, enchanting, perfect Jaycie Simple to come by himself. Heck, the only time they'd hung out was by coincidence. He was just Alcyone's little brother, her best friend's little brother, one that she kept up a good relationship with because it would be awkward if she didn't like him, as he was the little brother. He grit his teeth together and tried not to dwell on this information.

Ever since their song had been made, he couldn't stop thinking about her. His relationship with Donnie was pretty much completely ruined after he'd punched him, and they'd had that brawl. He knew everything would get better so long as he apologised to Donnie. At least, he hoped. Caelum sighed. His thoughts around Jaycie had mostly been that image of the little girl, little Jaycie with his eyes to show that she was also his daughter. He wished he could hold that little girl in his arms now, his and Jaycie's daughter. He groaned and banged his head against the wall.

With a sigh, Cae got up and worked on his hair first. He'd discovered that all he needed to do was brush it, then run a hand through it and mess it up a bit to give it that attractive look Jay had given him when she'd touche his hair with her soft, delicate fingers... Cae shook his head and pulled on a white button-up shirt, buttoning it up like Anscom would with the top one un-done. He pulled on his black trousers and slid his feet into dress shoes, before changing his mind and switching to jeans and sneakers. He liked the casually classy look better than the formal look.

Caelum hoped that Jay might find him just a little bit attractive, as he did all of this just for her. He apparated to her apartment and went up to her room, ringing the doorbell and waiting.

Jaycie grinned broadly as she saw the Tribe (as she'd now nicknamed Anne's growing family) on the other side of the door. "Your hand-takers are adorable," Jaycie giggled, smiling at Anne's son and daughter.

She swept the three inside and settled the kids in the lounge, which she had made specifically child-friendly for the occasion. No sooner had Jay opened her mouth to ask where Damien was, did the doorbell ring again.

Jaycie quickly swung the door open again and her heart must have skipped a beat, because Caelum was standing there, in a very casual but classy outfit. He looked so charming that Jaycie's breath hitched slightly in her throat for a millisecond. A grand smile split her face and she leaned up to hug him, moving to place a kiss on his cheek. Which was, by the way, amazing. Like every other part of the man standing before her.

Caelum's breath hitched in his throat as the door opened, and his eyes swept over the beauty that was Jaycie Simple. The world seemed to froze as that beautiful smile swept across her face, illuminating her every feature in the highest detail. It was a pure, radiant smile filled with innocence and love and so much joy that it made you want to smile back - even though he was currently in a semi-depressed state over the fact that Jaycie would never love him. His eyes were fixated on her smile for a while, before they moved to her own beautiful, chocolate brown eyes that could melt your heart. The way her cheeks crinkled lightly when she grinned, and the dimples appeared in the side of her mouth made his heart warm. Her hair was softly curled around her hair, as if it was carved by angels and given drops of sunshine to give it that beautiful shine that seemed so natural and beautiful.

His eyes finally trailed away from her face, which seemed to be carved by the gods themselves, and looked down at her outfit. A sharp in-take of breath could be heard at the beautiful, midnight-blue dress that ended just before her knees, and was a turtle-neck cut. She looked simply stunning, and the dress was so perfectly perfect. He wanted to hold her in his arms and shield her from the eyes of anyone else in the world. He had to shake his head once to snap himself back into reality, though he couldn't help but notice how the dress sparkled lightly with the slightest movement she made. Damn it, why was she so beautiful? If only she knew the torture she put him through by being so beautiful and out of his league.

As she leant up to hug him, he twisted his face to continue looking into her beautiful eyes, he never wanted to break the contact with them. They were so enchanting, and the image of their little girl in his mind changed so that she looked just like Jaycie, except with his shade of hair colour now - despite how much he loved Jay's. He just had to add his own features in his mind, so that everyone knew that the little girl was his and Jaycie's. Her lips, which had been meant for his cheek, now bumped against his own and he felt a sharp jolt of electricity zap him, his lips moving against hers for the briefest of moments, before he caught himself and pulled away rather quickly, his face so red he could feel it burning as he stared at her lips. Shakily, he lifted a hand to his lips and touched them. "Oh..." He gasped, looking startled.

The soft kiss of welcome on his cheek didn't turn out to be quite what Jaycie had expected. She stood a little away from him, surprise clear on her face. Her eyes were wide and unblinking, staring at his own shocked expression. Her lips could still feel the lingering warmth of Caelum's own - which currently had the slightest tell-tale smudge of pale red lipstick on them.

Jay blinked and her heart started pounding a million times the speed of light. A blush crept into her cheeks; she could feel the heat of it. Jay felt slightly light-headed and opened and closed her mouth, as if she were going to say something but could not find the words.

Finally, she managed to force a bit of noise from her throat. "Caelum," she said weakly. Swallowing, Jay forced herself to step back and let him in calmly, while her body felt giddy. She just wanted to fall over giggling and not stop, possibly grab his shirt and pull him in for another kiss, a longer one. But somehow, Jaycie succeeded in refraining.

I kissed Caelum. I kissed Caelum. Jay couldn't help the shadow of a smile that flickered across her face before she followed him in to her apartment. She'd just accidentally accomplished the one thing that had been on her mind since the recording of their song.

So badly, more than anything else in the world, he wanted to pull that woman in front of him into a tight embrace and mash his lips to hers once more, claiming them for his own. He stared at her as she blushed and almost stumbled backwards, over-whelmed with a burning love for this beautiful enchantress. She was just so amazing, and her lips were so soft and warm - like he'd always expected. She was just perfect, perfect, perfect. I kissed Jaycie, fuck, oh Merlin i'm never going to be able to move on from her now, he almost sighed at his own thoughts.

"Jaycie," he responded as calmly as possible, though his voice was slightly husky. She was so... he couldn't even describe the feelings inside of him right now. He hoped Alcy got their soon so he could steal her away and vent about how beautiful she was and how much he was in love with her. He'd had a crush on her ever since that day at the park, and now he was in love with her.

He walked past her in an almost dazed state and smiled warily at Anne, the blush slowly fading from his cheeks. He turned back to face Jaycie and smiled at her, eyes trailing to her lips before he caught himself and flicked them back up to her eyes. "Hey, thanks for inviting me..." He trailed off, staring at her lips again.

Caelum's voice was husky, if a little breathless, but it still sent sharp shivers down Jay's spine. Her mind buzzed and she secretly willed Alcyone to hurry up and get here already so she could drag her off into her bedroom and go all squee about how much in love she was with her brother. Jaycie's eyes followed the back of Caelum's broad, white-clad shoulders as he made his way into her apartment, her brain mentally imagining her fingers tracing patterns on it.

She turned and shut the door, waking up to the reality that the kiss was as much a surprise to him as it was to her and that the way he kept staring at her lips meant nothing and it would all be forgotten in the morning because it really didn't mean anything and oh god, was he talking to her? He was talking to her. Say something Jaycie, you'll look stupid!

"Hmm? Oh yes, no, that's not a problem, Cae. I would feel horrible if I didn't invite you as well," Jay said, internally grateful for her not-shaking voice. She felt the butterflies flit about in her stomach as he briefly looked in her eyes. She was personally feeling like someone had stupefied her brain, it definitely had gone a bit fuzzy.

Jaycie turned and smiled at Sophie and Dj. "So, how do you guys like apple crumble?"

Alianna was a little shocked when she recieved an invitation to Jay's little gathering. Alianna could not even remember the last time Jay had even taken the time to visit her. It was like she grew up got famous and mom was not important anymore. Jenna was the same way, she didn't need her mom anymore either. Alianna wondered if she would be at this party, she had not seen her either.

Alianna decided to go with a simple blue dress with matching 3 inch blue heels. She decided to wear her hair down and decided to make it straight for a change.

Alianna made it Jay's place, she could not even remember the last time she was here or not. Alianna walked up to the door and knocked and waited for someone to let her in.

Damien was running really late and he knew that his wife was gona kill him. He left her with two kids to take to a party. He tried to tell her to wait for him to get Lily but she said she would be fine.

Damien apparated over to Tessa so she could pick up Lily, Tessa had her dressed up really pretty. Damien told her to kiss her mom bye and then he apparated them the Jay's place. Damien had been there one time before but it had been awhile.

He apparated them to the front walk and then walked them up to the door. He noticed there was already a woman standing there. He knew this was Jay's mom from a picture he had seen. Since she had already knocked he did not see the point.

"Hi" was all Damien could think to say.

Lily had spent all afternoon with her mommy getting ready. Her mommy wanted to make sure that she was dressed cute. But Lily got to pick out the dress that she wanted to wear. Before she left she kissed her mommy and daddy Capper. They then apparated somewhere she had never been before. She really didn't know where they were supposed to be going either.

She then seen that they wasn't standing there alone. That is when she tried to hide behind her daddy.

Anne stood there a bit awkwardly when Cae and Jay had their exchange. She really just wanted to shove them in a broom closet and not let them out till they admitted their love. She wished she could but now was not the time. She would have to have them both over or something.

She was a bit relived when someone knocked at the door and walked over to get it leaving DJ and Sofia in the kid friendly area. She trusted Jay to make sure in her 10 second absence nothing would happen. She opened the door and smiled warmly at Alianna and Damien. She looked at Lily hiding and smiled at her as well.

"Hey Cae I know you liked her the other day, so why don't you come say hi to Lily." She called over her shoulder hoping to let him know that though Jay was the only one in his world they were at a party.

Alcyone looked at the clock and noticed that she had about an hour before it was time to leave and visit Jaycie and her gathering. She was definitely excited to see her best friend, and could only hope that her best friend knew Caelum's feelings for her after he attacked Adonis because he was flirting with Jaycie, but then again, both of them were oblivious idiots when it came to the others emotions. She rolled her eyes and ran the curling iron through her hair again, twisting and curling it so it fell around her head in soft waves. Although it may not seem like it, Alcyone absolutely adored to dress up and look pretty - and today was no exception. She finished off curling her hair so it cascaded around her head in soft waves - not unlike Jaycie's hair - and un plugged the curling iron. She then moved onto her make-up, which she always did first so as to avoid spilling anything on her clothing.

She applied toner to her skin first to give it more depth and smoothen out the colour. It made her skin look perfect and free of blemishes. She then picked up her brush and dabbed it in some light pink blush, spreading this over her cheeks with skilled hands. She'd used to want to be a make-up artist, but had later decided that teaching was far more fun than doing make-up. She placed her brush down and pulled out her kit, opening it up and looking at all of her eye-shadows. She would need one that matched her eyes, bringing out the colour in them. She chose a lovely, soft blue and shut her eyes. She used feel to brush it over her eyelid, and when she opened her eyes smiled at the effect it gave them. She chose a light pink for her lipstick and added that. Finally, she circled her eyes with eyeliner and nodded her head.

Alcyone always put a ton of effort into her make-up whenever she could be bothered to put it on. Her outfit was easier to put on, she just grabbed it and slid it up. She'd decided to go with some leggings, with a cute dress over the top and some volleys. She loved to be different with her fashions, and chose a crazy bag to go along with it. With everything on, she grinned at herself in the mirror. "Dayum, girl," she giggled at herself. She then called out to her house for her husband and her daughter. "JASPER! CAPELLA! LET'S GO!" She called out. Once they were all out the front, Alcyone apparated the three to Jaycie's apartment complex and went up to her door, letting herself in and waving at the flustered looking Jaycie and Caelum, head tilted slightly. She let Damien and Alianna go through first, before bringing her little group in behind her. She rested a hand on her belly as she saw little Sophia and waved at Lily too. "Hey Cae, Jay!" She greeted them both, looking between the two with interest.

Jaycie felt a twinge of guilt when Anne opened the door. There was her mother, whom she hadn't seen in an age, and Damien. She felt horrible for not writing to her mum recently. Standing up, a huge grin wormed it's way to her face and she covered her beautiful mother in a hug. "Mum!" she exclaimed, laughing a little breathlessly.

She stepped back and let everyone in, hugging everyone in turn with ecstatic greetings, expressing her pleasure that they'd all been able to make it. She bent down and gave both Lily and Capella hugs, commenting on how pretty the two were and how lucky they were to have such special parents.

Jay stood up and squished Alcyone and Jasper together in the biggest bear hug you could ever have seen, before taking their hands and dragging them into her neat little apartment. She noticed the quizzical look Alcyone sent her and Caelum's way, and sent her back a look that said, "I'll tell you later." What she didn't realise was an excited glint had appeared in her eyes along with that look.

"Make yourselves comfortable, everyone, I'm just going to check on the food," she said, twisting into the roomy kitchen and donning oven gloves. She pulled open the oven and checked the roast, the potato bake, and all the other food she had made. Jaycie felt a little bubble of satisfaction well up in her as she saw how well the food was coming along. Jay grinned and stood up, moving back into the bustling room.

Her little flat seemed so crowded now that so many people were here. She was just waiting on her sister to arrive... then the night would be perfect. "Drinks anyone?" she offered as she popped the cork off a bottle of elf-made wine, a smile lighting up her features.

Jenna glanced at herself in the mirror. She'd pinned half her hair back, and left the curliest parts to frame her face. Her make-up was eye-catching but natural, and her yellow cocktail dress was really pretty. She liked the floaty skirt that dropped down to before her knees, and the poofy flower on the single-shoulder strap.

It was her first time seeing her sister since she'd finished school, and she couldn't wait to see who else was there. Jenna had a feeling she would be slightly awkward there, because Jay was inviting all her favourite school friends too, but at least she'd have her mother. Oh, how she missed Mum. Jenna couldn't believe her mother had moved down to France recently - she hadn't been able to keep up with her because of the distance.

Twisting on her short, gold strappy heels, Jenna apparated to outside Jaycie's flat. She grinned as she saw the door still open and knocked a little nervously, the bowl she had brought of chocolate, strawberries and cream for the fondue under her arm. "Knock knock!" She called brightly.

Alianna was not very shocked when she heard a pop behind her and then seeing a young man she recognized as Anne's husband and little girl standing next she smiled and said hi back. Next thing she knew was the door opened and there was Anne answering the door for them.

"Hi Anne," Alianna said as she walked into Jay's Apartment

Next thing Alianna knew was she heard a mom and then she was engulfed in a hug, so she held her tight for a moment and then gave her a kiss on her cheek.

"Hello to you my dear" Alianna said with a smile and before she knew it Jay was gone and off to her friends.

Alianna made herself over to a chair in the corner and sat down, watching all of the action in the room. While watching the action she heard another voice she knew all too well as Jenna and see smiled. Jenna had just graduated Hogwarts and Alianna had been so proud of her for it.

Alianna got up and made her way over to the door and smiled at Jenna. "Hello my beautiful creature." she then gave Jenna a hug and kiss on the cheek.

Damien was glad when he saw that it was Anne that opened the door, but all he got was a smile so at least he didn't get yelled at for being late.. The only reason he was there is these were Anne's friends he really did not know anyone.

"Hello to you too" Damien said to Anne as he kissed her cheek and then let Lily take off to play with Cae if she wanted.

Damien took off when he heard the word drink, he wanted something strong but he knew better.

As soon as the door was opened, Lily went inside. But at this time she was tired and cranking and her mommy didn't let her take her nap. " I don't want to be at this stupid thing. The only reason I am here was because she was being forced.

Lily then started to cry. " I don't wanna be here, I wanna go home."

Damien had went to get a drink when he heard Lily start to cry and pout so he went back over to her and got down at her level.

"Lily what is the problem, you have other kids here to play with, DJ is over there so you can play with him."

Damien really was not in the mood to deal with a whinny 6 yr old.

Lily was still crying. “ But I wanna go home.” This would have never happen if she got her nap in. But her daddy gave orders to her mommy to make her look really cute.

She then started to stomp her foot when her daddy said that she could go play with DJ. I don't wanna play with DJ cause he is a baby.”

Damien could not deal with her at the moment, where the heck was Anne. She was much better at dealing with this kind of thing than he was. Damien pulled Lily off to the nearest room with him so they could talk without making too much of a scene.

"Lily you have to stop this right now. You are making a scene. Mommy Anne wanted you to come and you are embarrassing us."

Anne saw Lily start to whine and complain. She sighed seeing Capella and getting an idea. She walked into the room they were in and smiled at her. "Hey Sweety. I know it's not very fun but, Jay wanted to see you. We don't have to stay long, just for a bit. You can play with Capella. She's Alcyone's little girl." She said going down to her level. "And you can have some chocolate and cobbler. It will be fun. Just try and stay for 5 minutes then if you still aren't having fun. I'll take you home. But if you don't try it wont be fun." She said hoping to get her to stay.

She turned to Damien. "you go enjoy yourself, get to know people. Jays a sweetie, and everyone is nice." She said hoping he would branch out and make some new friends.

Lily was drug off into another room. She was being yelled at by her daddy. But her mommy anne walked into the room and was going to talk to her. Her mommy Anne well telling her that she knew that it wasn't fun. And that Capella was there, she had gone over to their house because Tessa asked Alcyone to watch Lily before. But she smiled a little bit when she heard the word chocolate.

She was still pouting. " But I want to go home." Lily was cranky because she didn't have a nap.

Caelum was relieved when Alcyone and her crew walked in, and he immediately rushed over, scooping Capella into his arms and hugging his niece close. "EllaDella~! I haven't seen you in ages, how are you?" He asked, setting her down and comparing her incredibly small height to his towering figure with a chuckle. "You're shrinking, hun," he teased her playfully, knowing this would get a reaction. He was trying not to think about Jaycie, but he felt as if he could feel her wherever she went now. He was still dizzy and feeling all funny from the kiss he'd been dreaming of for countless years.

He blinked and shook his head, looking over at where he could hear a tantrum. His little Lilypot was here, he'd failed to notice before! But the poor darling seemed un-happy with her whereabouts, and he didn't blame her. Perhaps, she could hang out with Capella? He ruffled Capella's hair and decided that he himself would go over and cheer up his little Lilypot.

"Back in a moment," he said to Capella, turning and walking over to Lilypot who was pouting. He waved cheerily at Damien and Anne. "Damien, Anne," he nodded his head at them, then bent down and lifted Lilypot up into his arms. "Now, now, Lilypot, be a good girl! Ella can play with you, and Jay-Jay has gone to all the trouble to make some yummies for your tummy, you don't want to make her sad by pouting, do you?" He asked and tutted at her, a grin on his face as he kissed both of her cheeks.

Lily was still pouting because all she wanted to do was go home and go to sleep. She then seen her Cae had bent down in front of her. But he picked her up and it was like everything was better. Lily was now grinning, it seemed like the party would be good.

She then heard yummies. “ Is there any strawberries?” That was something that she ate a lot of because they was good for her. And since it was Summer it was something that Tessa could get easily. Cae then kissed Lily cheeks and she then started to giggle.
