Caelum wasn't the kind of person to just let his anger consume him like he had, but he'd been through a lot of shit in his life and the last thing he fucking needed was his best friend trying to steal the girl that he'd been in love with for fucking half his life! He grit his teeth and waited for the punch that would come in return, though he wasn't able to dodge out the way.

He heard a sickening crunch as Adonis' fist collided with his jaw, and he knew it was dislocated. Not broken, but damnit it hurt like hell. He clutched it and just lost control. Heck, he would've hit Jaycie if she tried to interfere right now. This was a Caelum that people just didn't get to see, the one that hid beneath the surface, the monster created by his past. The person that only Alcyone had seen, when he killed their parents in cold blood.

His eyes glinted with pure bloodlust as he lunged for Adonis, knocking him to the ground. He pinned Adonis to the ground using strength he didn't even know he had and punched him across the face. The rage monster wasn't good at skilfully fighting though, and any moment know could easily be kicked in the stomach, or the chest, or somewhere that would cause him to falter and give Adonis the advantage. But for now, he just enjoyed punching Adonis across the jaw twice, and then lifting his hand back to punch him again. Blood trickled down his chin from the break in his jaw, and his hands were coated in it from Adonis' nose. A small part of him told him to stop, tried to soothe him, and the voice sounded just like Alcyone. But he was beyond reasoning when this person.

Valkyrie, who had been busy with chatting with Anscom and Chris, jumped out of her skin when she saw Cae lash out at Donnie, who attacked back. Before she could even blink, they were fighting for real. Val saw a spark in Cae's eyes that she had never before witnessed as he punched down on Donnie's face. Then everything went blank and she jumped over.

"Stop this!" she shouted, but they didn't hear her. That was obvious. So she stooped down and put her arms around him, trying to pull him off, knowing he was much stronger than her, but that she might be able to get him off balance.

Caelum could feel the rage just building as everything un-folded. He knew bottling up his emotions was a bad thing - but fuck, he was a man, what was he meant to do? Cry and whine to his sister like a baby? No, he had to be strong for Alcyone. Merlin knows she was strong, he had to be strong like her, for her, because if he crumbled so would she. He could feel the anger from Capella's death come pouring out and he punched Adonis a little harder than he would've had he not been trying to beat his skull in for the death of someone that had nothing to do with Adonis.

And then, arms wove around him and the whites of his eyes showed as he growled and thrust his arms out, using the full strength. His muscles flexed as he clenched his arms and whipped around, punching whoever it was clean in the jaw and hearing a horrible crunch. It was seconds later that his vision focused, and the anger evaporated. "Fuck, Matilda i'm so sorry-" He gasped, covering his face with his hands.

In the flash of an eye, Caelum was on his feet and had stormed over to the fireplace. Shakily, he grabbed a handful of floo powder and stepped into the flames. "The Shack!" He cried, whizzing away to his home and hearing words of abuse shouted from Matilda after him. Fuck.

Donnie struggled under Caelum's weight and his face burned with each punch that hit him. He kicked hard and struggled to fight back, but Caelum's punches came in harder and for some reason it felt like he wasn't the one Cae was angry at any more. Don managed to swing in a couple of clean hits but his face felt so incredibly broken. Blood was everywhere and he could barely manage to see through his squinted slits of eyes.

Adonis didn't move when Cae got off him. He stayed on the ground, not paying any attention to what was happening. He heard Cae disappear through the fireplace, but he couldn't see anything as he was clutching his face. I deserved that, he thought bitterly. In some way, it felt good to have been bashed up like that.

Like he'd had the sense knocked back into him.

Jaycie grit her teeth. The punches kept flying, but she was strangely calm. A cold dread settled over her like the chill of night. Jay's eyes brimmed with tears as she realised this entire thing was about her. Donnie and his arrogance had spoilt a wonderful afternoon.

A gasp escaped her throat when Cae turned around and punched Valkyrie in a blind fury. Realising what he'd done, the poor man had disappeared into the green flames of the floo. She stooped beside Adonis, tearing her attention away from the fireplace.

Seeing the damage done to his face, she walked up to Val. "Val, Donnie needs to go to St. Mungo's. I'm going after Cae, I think he's really hating himself right now." She licked her dry lips and left for the fireplace.

"The Shack," she said softly, but clearly and dropped the powder, vanishing in a roar of green flames.

Valkyrie tried to stop Caelum when he rounded and his fist collided with her jaw. A sickening crunch could be heard and a searing pain shot through her. She fell back and looked shocked at Cae, wondering what on earth was wrong with him.

She was shocked for about as long as he was, and then he apologised. She didn't know what happened but fury raged inside of her. "SORRY?!" she shouted in disbelief as he ran towards the fires. She didn't know what she was saying after that, all she knew was that she had risen and was shouting curses at him, without her wand. Pain shot through her jaw, but it was nothing on her rage.

When he vanished, she heard herself say 'Good riddance' and turned sharply to Donnie. She didn't get to say anything before Jaycie had. For some reason, this made Val even angrier. She knew they had started this because of the girl, but she shouldn't blame her for that.

She then looked down at Donnie. "You idiot," she muttered when she sat down next to him, taking out her wand. "Episkey," she said and the nose and jaw cracked back in place. She grabbed his arm and pulled him up with her. She dragged him over to the fireplace. "St. Mungos," she said firmly and they stepped into the flames.
