| Donnie took a sip from his butterbeer and gazed out the window, onto the street below. Witches and wizards in cloaks, robes and pointed hats wandered down the lane way. He knew he was searching the crowd for one who despised 'those silly things', along with the majority of the younger generation of magicfolk who'd opted to wear more muggle fashions.
Yup, his kid sister Dana was coming down from Scotland to pay him a visit.
Donnie's eyes landed on a tall, chocolate-haired woman making her way through the crowd towards his apartment block, and he watched as she made her way up the path. She slipped into the building, out of view, and he took another swig from his drink. Two minutes later, a grin split Donnie's face as his door rattled with her impatient knocking.
He moved away from the window and paused in front of his door. "Who is it?" He called in a fake female voice. Don knew that Dana knew he knew she was coming, but it was always fun to test her limits first. "It better not be the landlord." |

| Dana was cold. The cobblestoned street of Diagon Alley clacked under her boots as she trundled toward the apartment complex of her brother's residence. She'd never been here before, and as she glanced up at the big, white-brick building a sense of satisfaction fell over her. Finally, after much pushing through the crowd of magicfolk wearing stupid hats and long robes (Dana had to admit, those robes did look very warm at the minute), she made it up the path to the double glass doors of North Road Apartments.
In a matter of minutes, Dana had traversed three flights of stairs and was bashing on the door to Adonis's flat. The fake female voice wafting to her made Dana roll her eyes. "It's your sister. And if you don't open the door now, I will open it for you." |

| "Oooh, someone's feisty," Donnie countered, dropping the female voice and returning to his own. He swung open the door, knowing full well that she certainly would blast it open for him, leaving it up to him to talk to the actual landlord. He grinned. "You're starting to sound a bit Sco'ish, Dan," Don teased, using her least favourite nickname from when they were kids.
He stepped back and allowed her in. "Come on, hurry up, it's cold out there." Donnie couldn't help but fall into old patterns with his feisty younger sister. |

| Dana rolled her eyes. The door swung open to reveal her annoying older brother who seemed to 'not' let the fame get to his head. Which Dana did not believe in the slightest - in fact, he was even more arrogant than he was at Hogwarts. If that was possible.
"You be careful I don't pick up on any more Scottish traits, Mister," she warned hotly. She lugged her suitcase in front of her person and raised a perfect eyebrow. "Forgetting something?" God, he's so rude, Dana reflected.
She patted him on her way through, leaving the suitcase for him to take in for her. "No, sweetie, that's just you." Dana shot a smirk back his way. |

| Adonis rolled his eyes back at Dana in a mock imitation of what she'd just done. He placed a hand on his hip and snapped his fingers like a black woman who don't need no man. "Baby got baaad," he said in his most feminist 'gay' voice.
"Eh, I wasn't forgetting. I thought you were independent enough to use your wand." Donnie grinned cheekily and braced himself for the punch on the shoulder.
Donnie stared after his little sister, a sour expression on his face as he watched her flounce past. He shook his head and then levitated the suitcase to the spare bedroom, where Dana would be staying. |
