Anne had informed every member of her class that Class would be by the lake today. She wanted a change. She knew many like herself hated all the stairs. She sighed remembering that Sophie had broken her ankle, Parker had healed it in a second but still. An outside class would be nice. She had enough mats set out on the grass for each one of her students that would show up to this class.

Anne closed her eyes and sat on the mat. She rested her hands on her stomach and felt a small kick she smiled and focused on the life of the child in her womb. she smiled as she saw the little girl at her third birthday. She was smiling and laughing. She liked seeing this. The future of her daughter was bright. Today they would be doing palmistry. She smiled thinking of her speciality.

She had read the text book and saw that she had been doing it properly. She however was guided by her second sight, while most had to learn. She smiled thinking of what they should know.

What's in the text book, if you wanted to know

Olivia read her professor's note that the class would be by the black lake. She head outside of the castle towards her divination class. She enjoyed the beautiful smell of nature and arrived at the black lake.

She smiled at her professor and took a seat on the mat and enjoy the feeling of being surrounded by nature.

Carey was feeling just plain mad. Not only did he have to do up all those damn stairs to class, there was no freaking class in the room that day! So he had to go all the way back down and aall the way back down to the lake. Just. Fantastic.

He glared as he made his way to there. He saw the mats placed out and wondered what BS they'd be 'learning' about now. He hadn't bothered to even look in that textbook cause he had better things to be worrying about then this class. He'd recently got a letter from his family and of course his brother had to write also...he didn't want anything to do with him anymore so why did he have to keep butting back in. He had his time in school and his time to be adored, all Carey wanted was to have that also.

He groaned, rubbing his right eye, slowing his back to a stop as he got the the class area. He felt a bit dizzy and took his seat to make sure he'd not fall over or anything. Damn it, he really needed glasses if this was how bad it was....

Anne smiled warmly at Olivia. She was glad to have her in the class. She sighed when she saw Casey she would need to speak with him. She felt bad for the boy. He needed to learn a bit. He would be so much happier then.

"Hello Olivia and welcome. Casey If you don't wish to take my class I wont be offended if you leave." She said to him knowing that it wasn't his thing.

He walked out to the Black Lake for his Divination class. It was his least favorite class, but he still was interested in Divination. Very interesting subject, for him, the least favorite class he still enjoyed.
Humphrey is a nerd, and bookworm, and enjoyed his classes believe it or not. "Hello Professor Greene." he said as he picked a spot to sit down.

Then, he relaxed himself, and tried to get ready for whatever they were doing today. He suspected it would be interesting. Not to mention cool to meet some new people. Yea, sitting in class was something that never bothered him.

Anne smiled as the newest student came in and turned to face him. "Hello and Welcome Humphrey. Please Call me Anne, seeing as you are taking every class, and you will see me rather often with the other Professor Greene." She said kindly. She knew outside of class especially now they would really be spending a lot of time together.

"Now if you'd please read you text book on page 30. After that after the rest of the class gets here we can divide up and give it a try." She said smiling.

Humphrey read the lesson today on page 30. It was about palm reading, he looked at the book, and wrote down what his palm said about him according to the text. This was interesting, it was a curious way to learn about yourself.

There were seven steps to the process of palm reading. He read what it said, and then looked it his palm.
One: Pick a palm. It recommended males use their right hand so he did.

Two: Identify all four lines. He did so. Humphrey had the heart line, head line, life line, and the fate line.

Three: Interpret Heart line. The heart line predicted emotional stability, romantic perspective, cardiac health, and depression.
Begins below middle finger. So he was selfish when it comes to love.
Straight and short. That meant he had less interest in romance
Smaller lines crossing through heart line. Emotional trauma.

Four: Examine the head line. Represents learning style, communication style, intellectualism, and thirst for knowledge.
He had a curved head line. Which meant he was associated with creativity and spontaneity.
Cuved, sloping line. Creativity
Donuts or cross in head line. Emotional crisis
Multiple crosses in headline. Momentous decisions.

Five: Evaluate the life line. Begins near thumb and travels in arc toward wrist. It reflected physical health, general well being, and major life changes.
Short and shallow. Manipulated by others
Straight and close to edge of palm. Cautious when it comes to relationships.

Six: Study the fate line (not everybody has it) He did, so he continued. Also known as the line of destiny, and it indicates the degree to which a person's life is affected by external circumstances beyond their control. Begins at base of palm.
Deep line. Strongly controlled by fate.
Breaks and changes in direction. Prone to many changes in life from external foorces.

Seven: Determine hand shape.

His hand shape was fire. Because his hand was square or rectangular palm, flushed or pink skin, and shorter fingers. Length of palm greater than length of fingers. That was him.

Fire meant he was: Spontaneous, enthusiastic, and optimistic. Sometimes egoistic, impulsive, and insensitive. Extrovert. Does things boldly and instinctively.

He realized that after he had read his palm, most of what the lines said was actually accurate to him. It stunned him that what was in this textbook really did look like what his life had been so far. "I am finished reading my own palm. I must admit, it was surprisingly accurate. Scary, even. So when can we read somebody else's palm?" Humphrey asked the professor.

Olivia read the textbook and she finds palm reading really fascinating. There are so many informations.

She tried reading her palm and realize they were accurate. She heard that the Ravenclaw boy's palm reading were accurate as well. She was also excited when he asked the professor when can they read other people's palm. "I finished reading my palm to. So, what are we going to do next?" Olivia asked her professor.
