| Parker held onto the railing tightly as he went up the stairs, cursing to himself. He was in for it. He was freaking out internally, but he knew he deserved it. At least Anne and the others would be protected. He knew the headmistress was a damn powerful woman and she'd probably throw him to the dogs for his inadvertent betrayal...if she didn't tear him apart herself first. His sweaty palm slid off the railing, and as he came to the door of her office he stopped.
He stared at the door. Recalling the owl she sent him. It seemed like a normal letter, and maybe he was reading into it too much, but the vaguely threatening feeling about her words unnerved him greatly. He swallowed as he reached out to knock on the door, his hand shaking slightly. He wished he could take it all back, he wished he'd not made such a tremendous mistake. He'd put people in danger because of his stupidity and wished he could just make it right again. |

| Nora stood in front of her desk, staring down at it as she awaited the arrival of Parker. The darkness within her was building up, fulled by her rage and anger. Parker was a fool to release such vital information - whether this was accidental or not was of no matter to Nora. She did not care if he'd merely thrown it in on accident, or through a misunderstanding, he had done the crime and would now 'do the time' as the muggles would say. Her eyes were slowly shifting from their normal hue, darkening until they were a navy blue. Un-common eye colour, but not as frightening nor rare as her black when she was consumed by the darkness.
Nora sensed his magic before he'd even reached the door to her office, but she waited for him, her anger rising until it felt like it was choking her. She took a few, deep breaths to calm herself and shot a look at her dementor in the corner - yes, Nora had a 'pet' dementor - whom had been drifting forwards. She would not allow him to suck out the soul of Parker no matter how much he wanted to. Yes, her dementor was male, for though wizards believed dementor's to be one sex they were not - they mated and reproduced like any other creature, except out of a will to continue their legacy rather than love. They were like the coldest human, like Voldemort himself. She could feel that his hand hovered near her door, and with a flick of her wand it swung open to admit him. She turned slowly, a calm-before-the-storm look in her eye as she smiled at him falsely. "Enter." |

| As he waited at the door he could feel a darkness just on the other side. The strong malevolent energy gave him goose bumps and the hair on the back of his neck stood up. He resisted to urge to just rush away from there before she came to the door. But, no, he couldn't. This was his mistake, and he could take the punishment. But the energy he could feel was just getting stronger and a constricting feeling wrapped around his chest as it always did i tense situations. He felt like he was suffocating and he just wanted this to be over with already.
He startled back when the door swung open. He breathed out, closing his eyes a brief moment as he rested his hand over his chest. He really should have expected that. He swallowed and felt a chill drift out from the room, which was dark and shadowy, reflecting her darkened state. The smile she gave him sent another chill down his spine. She really was the most intimidating woman he'd ever met. There was something about her...
When she told him to enter he took slow steps in and closer to her desk, feeling the chill constrict him more.He didn't dare to speak. |

| Nora walked over to Pandora who stood on her perch as the door opened and left Parker to his own devices for a while as she tried to calm herself. Her black magic wanted to take over once more, and she knew that if she allowed it Parker would die a most gruesome death. Pandora chirped at her and then gave a pointed look to Parker, to which Nora huffed and whipped back to him. Her eyes blazed black, and flickered as if she had fire in them. She stormed over to him, grabbed his arm and pushed him down into a chair. The patronus blocking her dementor from entering flickered and faded, but it took merely a second for the charm to return and her dementor to curl back in.
She went around her desk, sat down and glared at him angrily. She stroked Kumasi on the head. "What, were you thinking? Are you an idiot?" She growled and balled her fists together. Kumasi hissed at Parker. "Do I look like the kind of person who wants to keep around idiots?!" She yelled. She ran her hands through her hair and frowned at him. "Explain yourself before I kill you." She hissed. |
