Damien rushed over to the manor to get things together, with Randi's help it went a lot faster. When Damien told Randi that he had a daughter she got really excited that there was going to be another child in the house. Especially when she found out that it was going to be the daughter of Tessa and Damien. She popped off and and was busy getting getting the rooms ready.

She had popped off before he could tell her the rest of the story so he called her back and then explained about him getting a new wife and that their would be another child around the house. She was not to thrilled about there being a replacement of Tessa but she knew she would have to obey her master.

Tessa sighed as she brought Lily over to the manor. She really wasn't liking this idea. But it had to be done. It would give Tessa more time with her father and trying to close the deal on the house that she was buy. She was lucky that Lily was being calm about this. Because she knew that she could start fighting. Tessa had already tried to explain to her that nobody was replacing her. And that just because her father didn't love her anymore. Didn't change the love that he had for Lily.

She floo over while holding Lily's hand. Tessa then steped out of the fireplace and was looking around for Damien. She then started to pat off the dust that was on Lily. And she was ready to hear what was going to happen. Tessa then looked at Lily. And Lily saw Damien and started to smile. But she then shook her head. “ Lily I want you to remember thumper's rule while you are here.”

Damien had got the message the Tessa was bringing Lilly over by Floo so he waited in the main area for them to show up.

When they finally arrived Damien could tell by the look on Tessa's face told him she was not really keen on the idea, and he knew that she was going to have to get over it.

"Thank you for bringing her over, I am sure we will get along just fine." Damien sigh because this was going to be a hard going.

"So, what do I need to know?"

Tessa smiled as she seen Damien. He then asked everything that he need to to know. Was he in for a surprise if he though Tessa was a handful.

“ Well for starters when you want her to sleep, make sure she has her teddy. She is always used to being tucked in and also I sing her to sleep every night. Lily can have chocolate, but only a little bit. I don't want to hear her getting hyper or ruining her meals. The only thing that she can drink is milk, juice and water. No soda pop. If she has a nightmare, she will run to your bed. If she misbehaves don't be scared to call her out. She knows when she done something wrong. But we had this talk before coming over.”

She then bent down and gave Lily a hug and kiss. “ Be good for mommy?”

Damien listened to her list of rules and could understand all of them.

"Thank you Tessa, I think I got them all, so how long do you think you want her to stay?"

He watched Tessa talk to Lily about being a good girl.

"I am sure she will be an angel."

Tessa smiled she was sure that she gave Damien all of her rules. But she knew Lily would mess up something. “ I think I will have her stay a couple of days. I am trying to close the deal on the house I just bought. And then I will have to move everything in, and get it set up for her.”

She then started to laugh. Tessa knew Lily could be the sweet little angel when she wanted to. But most of the time it was hard to deal with her. “ Oh I am sure you will find a way to deal with her.” Tessa hugged Lily and then flooed.

Lily just stood there with her teddy in her hand. Her mommy had never left her alone before. This was something new and different. She had never been away from her mommy for a couple of hours. Lily just stood there, trying to be cute.

She then looked around the room. It was different from her grandpa house.

Damien wondered what was so hard about dealing with a six year old, unless she was just like him at the age.

"Randi, Randi" Damien yelled for the house elf

When she popped she she saw who was there and got very excited.

"Mistress Tessa..Mistress Tessa..Randi is so happy you home." Randi was just jumping up and down.

"Thats enough Randi, I already told she she wasn't coming back" Damien sternly told the elf.

"I wanted you to meet Lily, my daughter." Pointing Lily out to Randi

"Don't worry Lily she is very nice and loves to play games."

Lily dropped her teddy bear as she ran and hide behind her daddy. This was something that she had never seen before. And scared her a little bit. “ I want my mommy.” She didn’t' liked it when she heard him say that her mommy wasn’t coming back. “ My mommy is coming back for me.”

She then started to think of all the trouble that she could get into.

Damien got down on his knees to be at here level. "Lily, you mommy is coming back in a couple of days to take you to your new house."

Damien sighed she must have misunderstood when he was talking to Randi.

"I was telling just telling Randi that your mommy wasn't coming back to live."

She knew that her mommy was talking about a new home that she was buy. “ So I am not staying here forever?” She smiled a little bit, she still had teddy in her hands.

“ Mommy been taking to this guy who is selling us our house a lot. She says that he understands her and said that I might get to meet him soon.”

Damien had to smile at Lily, she was so small and innocent. He really hoped that Tessa's bitterness didn't rub off on her.

"Yes, honey. Your mommy will be back as soon as she can." Damien smiled at her.

"Why don't we go find your room, and get you ready for bed." Damien asked.

Lily looked up. “ Why did you leave mommy all sad?”

She knew that her mommy would be back as soon as she could. She had always kept her promises.

“ No I don't want to go to bed! I can't go to sleep my mommy isn't here.” That is when she started to scream and started to cry.

Damien got on the floor with Lily to try an explain to her about Mommy and him.

"Lily you have to understand that what goes on with a mommy and daddy is really hard for little girls to understand. I didn't mean to make mommy sad it just happened and we have to move forward from here." Damien sighed, he was never going get a six year old to understand why her mommy and daddy were never going to get together.

"Lily is it late and we need to get some sleep, the sooner we get sleep the sooner the days will go faster and mommy will be back."

Lily was still crying, she didn't want to go to bed yet. She couldn't her mommy wasn't here to do all of the things that she would do before bed.

She was still crying. “ I want my mommy and daddy back together. It has to be that simple, you can make mommy happy again. You just have to want it.” And it wasn't helping that Lily was missing her mommy.

“ I can't go to sleep, mommy isn't here to do everything to put me to sleep.”

Tessa had flooed back into the manor. And from the looks of it, that she was glad that she had came back. She then ran over and picked up Lily. Tessa looked at Damien. “ She left something that will help her sleep.” From the looks of it, Lily was upset. But she wasn't going to say anything. “ Shhhh Lily it will be alright, I will be coming back tomorrow. And mommy friend is coming with her. And he wants to meet you.”

She then looked at Damien. “ Where are you having her sleep tonight? I will help you this time, but next time you are on your on. I though you would have this down because doesn't Anne have a little boy. I think his name was DJ?” Tessa looked at Lily. “ Tell me you are being nice to Anne tonight? She is going to be your new step mommy and there is nothing that I can do about that. I have an idea which I think you will like Lily. If you behave for your daddy tonight. And to make up for what you did with Anne, I will take you to the zoo and we can ask your daddy and Anne to tag along?”

Damien didn't know what he was going to do with Lily, how was he ever going to get her calmed down. Just then he heard the floo and saw Tessa come out, for once he was happy to see the woman.

"I am glad you came back to help, she has her own room. She is in the old nursery across from the master suite.' Damien could not help but roll his eyes at the comment about not knowing what to do.

"Trust me I can handle putting a kid to bed, shes never been here before Tessa, and she wants her mom its normal."

When Lily had seen her mommy she had stopped crying. Her mommy had came back for her. But she said that she was going to leave again. But she said that she would be back tomorrow. Lily knew that everything was going to be fine since her mommy was here. But she had no idea who she was talking about when she talked about her find.

She then looked as her mommy and daddy was talking. She knew that she had to start giving up hope that they would get back together. Truth was she hadn't seen Anne at all. But her eyes lit up when she heard the word zoo. “ Ok mommy.”

Tessa sighed as she saw Lily crying. But she was going to do her best to get her to stop. It seemed when she seen Tessa that she had stopped crying.

She smiled a little bit. “ Damien I have her used to certain things that happen before she goes to bed. And she has never been away from me this long. I will take her to her room, if you want to get her a little bit of juice?”

“That is true, but there are many things that I do to put her to bed. Give her juice, carrying her to her bed telling her how much I love her. Tuck her in with teddy and sing her to sleep every night. “ She was smiling. “ Of course she was scared and needed her mum.”

Damien sighed, it did kind of make him upset a little he didn't know everything that Lily liked to be do, but it wasn't his fault, and he wasn't going to let Tessa make him guilty either. It was her fault he had not been around Lily not his.

Walking into the kitchen he got a glass of juice, just cause he was back at the manor did not mean he was not going to do things for himself.

He carried the glass of juice back up to Lily's room where he stood at the door watching Tessa get her ready. He kind of tugged at his heart a little.

Tessa smiled as she already had Lily dressed and ready for bed. She smiled as she seen Damien bring in the glass of juice. She kissed Lily's forehead and handed her the glass. Tessa watched as she drank a little bit of her juice.

She then got Lily into bed as she tucked her in. Tessa smiled as Lily was holding on her teddy. Tessa then kissed her forehead. She knew that she would have to sing Lily her lullaby while Damien stood there watching them.

Tessa then seen that Lily was fast asleep as she ended the song. She then got up and started to walk over to the door. She knew that Lily would share everything that she liked to do with her father.

Damien had to sigh and turn away from the door when Tessa started to sing that lullaby. It was not the first time he had heard sing that. She had sang it to him a couple of times and it brought up memories of when they were happy.

He was standing with his back to the wall trying to hold back the tear that had started to fall. But quickly wiped it away and waited for them to be done.

Tessa smiled as she walked out of Lily's room. She smiled a little bit as she seen Damien. “ I am truly sorry that I never told you about her. But I thought you would have been angry that I left and didn’t come back. And I am so sorry.”

She then stood there waiting him to say something. Tessa knew that she had made a mistake, and she had to live with it.

Damien sighed when Tessa started to talk, in fact he had turned himself around facing the other way.

"Well I wasn't the world's best husband back then either. I suppose I deserved it." To be honest Damien didn't know what he deserved anymore. Every time he was around Tessa feelings started to come to the surface, he loved Anne and Tessa, but he loved them differently.

Damien hated it when he felt confused.

Tessa sighed she knew that wasn't easy for her to admit.

“ You didn't deserve that Damien. I should have waited for you to come back. But I didn't, I thought that you just up and left me. That is why I never told Lily about you or that you was her father.” She was feeling a little bit confused when she was talking to him. Tessa told herself that she had to move on cause he was marrying Anne.

“ I am truly sorry.”
