More Information

Darquesse was brought up in a small community of magical beings in Russia, there she lived with her mother, her father and her two younger sisters, one day she was returning from shopping at the local store, and she saw that there had been a huge massacre in the settlement where she lived, done, assumingly by muggles. It shocked her into such a state that for a long while she could do nothing, eventually she was found by the killers, and brought to her family home, where they were dressed in clown masks, and forced the girl to mutilate the bodies of her family, before having to watch them be killed. Darquesse was made to laugh while doing these acts, and now is prone to bursting into fits of laughter at various moments.

After this the police were called, and they arrived at the scene before the killers could have their way with Darquesse, only managing to complete half the smiley, like they had made her give her family.

Now she has moved to Germany with the victims response unit of the Ministry for Magic, she was given a new identity, and asked if she wanted to have the scar magically removed, to which she declined. Now she lives in a one bedroom apartment, and she has no job while she recovers from what happened, apart from the odd contract that the Russian Ministry sends her on, by way of repayment for their help, and an offer by Darquesse. As she wants to help fight the people who made her the way she is today.
