Having a difficult school life, his seventh year at Hogwarts he isolated himself. His disappeared immediately after, losing all contact with everyone for nearly nine years. In that nine years he started his training to become a Healer. Nearing the end of his training, he took up the position of Healer at Hogwarts.
Shy but friendly on the outside, he's haunted by anger and self-loathing for his necessary decision to abandon his friends from school (especially his closest friend Pxyis). As much as he wants to forget his past, his thoughts are firmly stuck there.

He is self-centered, rude, and very dishonest. He grew up being extremely competitive and hateful of his older brother which has caused him to develop a major inferiority complex. He's often rude to others in order to make himself feel better, and will lie about absolutely anything to get his way.
As school has started he's noticed problems in his visions but tries to deny anything is wrong. With an enemy made from the Dumbledore family, he's become even more self conscious and bitter.

He's a bit strange and quirky, though extremely secretive, hardly speaking unless he really needs to. He also has his umbrella and handy little pug-Crup puppy with him AT ALL TIMES.
Due to two attacks on his family by British people when he was younger, he has a resentment for them. One of those attacks was in Romania because of his father's radical anti-muggle group which drove them to France where they were attacked by vampires, which killed his father and landed him with the curse. He's been living for quite some time, and due to them has a distorted sense of time and the past.
