Tessa was sitting in her father room. She was glad that he was sleeping. And she knew that Lily would be fine with her nanny. So she decided to stay their and was getting a little bit of piece and quiet. Her life was messed up even worse. If that was actually possible. She knew that she had the right to keep Damien away from Lily. Because she knew that would happen. She would ask why she was no longer with him.

She sat back in her chair and was reading ' Witch Weekly.'It was something to do while she passed the time. Tessa wished that she would have never came back to London and wished that she had never seen Damien again.

Damien had landed in St. Mungos with Lily and then remembered what she asked, "Honey you can always fit in my perfect family too." Damien kissed her cheek.

"Now lets go find your mommy." Damien put her down and walked towards the nurses station and asking where Charles Grey's room was and once he got the directions he head that direction.

Walking to the door he knock and then opened when he didn't get an answer. He noticed Tessa sitting there reading a magazine. She really was still beautiful to look at, she would make someone a great wife, if she would just believe in herself.

Holding on to Lily's hand he stuck his head in the door "Tessa, Tessa." he said trying to get her attention without waking her father.

"Tessa I need you to come here." Damien used his finger to show her to come. "Please its important."

Lily then started to blink. “ No I can't because you are with another person that isn't my mommy. And then I have to watch my mommy be sad.”

Her daddy had put her down and was holding her hand as they started to walk to her grandpa room.

Tessa actually was about ready to fall asleep. But she had to stay awake because the healers was going to talk to her. This wasn't going to be getting any easier for her. She heard a knock on the door and thought it was a nurse. But when she looked she saw Lily and Damien.

She then walked over to the door. Tessa had circles under her eyes like she hadn't had sleep for a while. “ What is it now Damien?”

Damien rolled his eyes like he really wanted to bother her while she was with her dad.

He could tell the Lily didn't want her mother to see her , she was trying really hard to hide behind him, since Tessa was just in the door way. So he pulled her out from behind him.

"Anne found her lost in Diagon alley, she got separated from her nanny." Damien said really calmly. He wasn't mad, or anything it can happen, it is just scary when it does.

Tessa then got down to Lily level and hugged her. “ I am just glad that you are alright. I don't know what I would do if anything would happen to you.”

She then sighed as she looked at Lily. “ What did I tell you, you always need to be holding Marie hand. You shouldn't have wondered, this is just like New York City.”

She was still holding Lily. “ It is hard not being around, since I been staying with your grandpa. I will make it up to you soon.”

Lily looked at her mommy. “ Im sorry, I promise to be more careful next time. I won't wonder and promise to hold hands mommy. I will be a good girl.”

She then wondered how her mommy was going to make it up to her.

Damien looked at the exchange between the two of them and come up with an idea.

"Why don't you let her come live with me at the manor, while you stay with your dad." Damien stated

"The manor is till attuned to your magical aura, I just never changed it. You can come and go as you please." Damien sighed, he didn't know why he never changed it.

Tessa laughed, it was something that she was thinking about. But she wasn't sure that she had trusted Damien. And Lily had never been away from her for more than a day. Tessa was always there to tuck her daughter into bed and sing her a lullaby

“ That is something I thought about, but I am not sure yet.” She then looked at Lily, she knew that she need to spend time with her father. Even if they couldn’t' work out. “ Fine she can stay with you. I am sure she will tell you everything that I do. And she will expect it.”

Damien was glad she was going to trust him enough to let him take Lily while she is at the hospital.

"Thank you Tessa, you don't have to worry." Damien smiled, but then it hit him he had to go to Anne's.

"Can she stay here with you for a little while? I have to go home and talk to Anne and then I have to get a place at the manor ready for her."

Tessa smiled a little bit, she hoped that she was making the right choice. She didn’t' want to start second guessing herself right now.

“ Damien I don't want to regret that I did this later.”

She smiled as she looked at Lily. “ Yeah sure I can keep her here with me for a little bit. But I don't have a bag of her things to send with her since I been here.”

Damien just looked at Tessa and sighed a little, "Really Tes its ok, I am sure I can handle her for awhile."

Damien could tell she was a little nervous about leaving Lily with him, and he had no way to reassure her it was going to be ok.

"That ok Tessa we can run to a store and get her some things, or I can transfigure something. Don't worry we will figure it out." Damien smiled

Damien looked at Tessa then down at Lily. "Ok Lily you are going to stay here with Mommy while I go and get a room ready for you ok, I will be back soon," Damien kissed her head and then looked at Tessa.

"I will be back as soon as I can." With that Damien popped out.

Tessa wanted to laugh but she was tired. “ Damien she can be a handful, I had been caring for her for six years by myself.”

She smiled a little bit bit. “ Damien she has this teddy bear, I think it is in her bag that she carries. She won't go to sleep without it.” Tessa knew that Lily would be alright without her for a while. And this was a chance for her to know her father.

Lily then looked at her daddy. “ Ok daddy .” She then watched him leave, she wanted to go with him. But she knew that she had to stay with her mommy. And she would get to spend time with her grandpa. can." With that her daddy popped out.
