Don stepped out of his apartment, into the crisp air of a clear morning in Diagon Alley. He shoved his pockets in his hands and glanced around warily, making sure that crazy neighbour of his wasn't following him again. Seeing no one was following him, Donnie picked up his pace and strode casually down the street to the main part of Diagon Alley.

The wind bit at his face and whipped his long hair around, but Donnie didn't mind so much. It was a brilliantly welcome change from the warmth of his apartment. He slowed a little and found he was right outside the oh-so-familiar Ice Cream Parlour. What the hell? he thought, and walked right in.

Valkyrie had figured it was time to walk about and took on a jacket and started walking. It was cold out, but it was a good cold. She smiled at the biting air, whipping her long hair back. She was walking in what she thought was normal clothes, and people thought was extremely weird. But she didn't really care, though.

She soon found herself in Diagon Alley as it was one of the best places to be at this time of the year. It was so pretty with the leaves and stuff. People were walking around, some looking rather sour and wrapping themselves up in big jackets. But, honestly, it wasn't that cold. She rolled her eyes at a particularly angry person. She then jumped slightly as a flash passed her eyes and she looked straight forward at a paparazzi. She raised an eyebrow and then gave a big grin.

She then waved and walked on, making sure the person wouldn't follow by walking through a big crowd and managing to escape into a random shop. That happened to be the Ice Cream parlour. She shrugged. Though she wasn't very excited to eat ice cream, the many flavours made her mouth watery. Then she saw Don.

"Don!" she screamed happily and threw her arms around him from behind, hoping she wouldn't scared him. It was always funny to do that.

The enticing list of flavours in front of him had worked up an appetite for Donnie. He was about to step forward and choose a mix-and-match sundae with lots of stuff in it when he was attacked from behind. Fearing the worst - that it was, in fact, Nina - Don squirmed out of the grip and whipped around to face his attacker.

"Get off me- oh! Val!" Donnie stopped short. A split second later, his face broke out in a huge grin and he stepped forward, engulfing his best girl friend in a great big bear hug. Being as tall as he was, Adonis was quite a bit taller than Valkyrie and ended up lifting her off her feet.

He laughed and set her back down. "You hungry?"

Valkyrie was a bit surprised at his reaction, but then she grinned wickedly. She has scared him. And then he engulfed her in one of his massive hugs. She clenched her eyes as she was lifted from the ground, and gave a hearty laugh.

When she was put back down she was still grinning. "Well, I wasn't a while back, but then the flavours just ... spoke to me," she said in a dramatic voice, "So now I am," she concluded and jumped in front of him in the line and beamed at the man behind the counter.

"I would love two banana tastes, one strawberry, two brownies, three oreo's and chocolate sauce," she said happily, grinning wickedly back at Donnie for sneaking in the line. She accepted the ice cream gratefully from the man, of course held up with a spell, and then sat down at a table, waiting for Don to join her.
