Wilder grew up on a working farm with his muggle mother. His father was a wizard but had given up magic a long time ago - he had been expelled from Hogwarts. So Wilder grew up working the land and now has the muscles to show for it. He has a way with the ladies, and although he doesn't settle at all, he tends to circulate one area for about three years, holding down Bar tending jobs and the odd handyman favour for three years maximum. Wilder does not care much for long term memories and can't seem to remember much about his childhood.
