Deva took on a comfortable cardigan and a pair of denim trousers. She walked to the exit of her chambers and took on her gladiator shoes; it was a warm day in March. She had arranged with Tess to go have a drink at the Leaky Cauldron. She found that the woman was a very friendly person and she really liked her. And it would be nice to get a friend who was outside Hogwarts and who she didn't know from her past.

She walked down to Hogsmeade and smiled at the people she knew, like students and so. Then she apparated and landed in the Leaky Cauldron. She smiled at Tom, the barman and walked to a vacant table where she got her Firewhiskey with her. She then sat back and kept a watch at the door, waiting patiently for Tess to show.

Deva's thoughts drifted as she looked around the bar to see if anyone was watching her closer than what was normal. She often got second stares from men, and when that happened, she instantly wondered if it would've been like that if she was still Haley. Everything about Deva had changed. All but her hair color. But she wasn't asking for attention this time. This time, she was keeping her guard up. Ever since she had learned that Dusk knew her identity, she had kept her guard up. She was always on guard though, but she hadn't known it could be even stronger than what it had been when it was simply about being someone she wasn't.

She then blinked as she saw Tess walking into the place.

Tess was excited about going out and talking to new friends. She usually would be hanging out with Victoria, but then again, ever since Victoria began to date her brother, it was no use for her to even think about asking her to spend some time at home. Their own time had done each other pretty good. Victoria was happy, and Tess had made more friends.

When Deva had asked her to an outing, she immediately chirped yes. Ever since she met Deva she had admired her because of her tenacity and her reputation for being great in everything she tried. Not to mention that she was the head of the Order, that she always dreamed of joining.

Walking towards the Leaky Cauldron, she smiled softly seeing that it was a warm day, she finally had the chance to get out of her uniformed attire and wore a sundress, she'd been waiting to wear for this kind of day. Many students were running around, and once she pushed the door opened the cool air of the building made her sigh in relief. There was only so much she was willing to take.

Looking around, she saw Deva and let out a bright smile, walking towards the table and sat across form her.

"Hello" she said brightly. "it's been a while"

Deva smiled at Tess as she sat down. She was wearing a lovely looking sundress. Deva was glad that Tess had agreed to meet her, and so quickly. She had expected Tess to ask if something was the matter, but seemed to take the invitation, happy to be invited.

"Indeed, and under much less fortunate circumstances," Deva said with a big smile. She felt a bit annoyed at herself. She had studied these people around her as much as possible, not caring whether the people noticed or not. She ought not be so on guard, but she just couldn't help it. She knew her posture was stiff and anything but relaxed, but there was nothing to do about that.

"How have you been? Is the hospital treating you right?" Deva asked curiously, loving to hear about the lives of healers, knowing two she cared loads about. It would be nice to know more about what they were doing.

As Tess leaned back on the chair, she lifted her hand for the waitress who gladly took her order and brought her a firewhiskey. She always enjoyed the burn that came with the drink. Deva looked lovely as usual, she always had but her body language screamed control. She didn't really mind it, for her she just thought that it was just how she was and she didn't really care.

"That always tends to be good" she laughed softly.

She shrugged at her question.

"We've been dealing with a lot of stress recently. With the destruction of Beauxbatons, a lot of French Healers have moved to deal with the destruction since we are the closest nation. It's stressful with the amount of damages and the new people there. How's Hogwarts?"
