Vladimir was new to teaching at Durmstrang, and he had no idea what they taught in Care of Magical Creatures nowadays. He quietly entered the classroom and carefully placed the tank he was carrying onto his desk.

Flicking his wand, words appeared on the blackboard;

'Grindylows'

Vlad sat down on his chair and waited for the students to settle down. "Good morning, class. I am Lehrer Martinov, your new Care of Magical Creatures lehrer. Now, as you can see in the blackboard we will be learning about grindylows," he smiled.

"Can anyone tell me what, exactly, a grindylow is?" Vlad asked. "Anyone?"

Sookie brushed her hair back from her face whilst the others in her dorm chattered about the most boring things, like schoolwork. Urgh, they were all losers. Sookie rolled her eyes and stood up, adjusting her school skirt and flattening down her shirt, before she scooped her hair up into a ponytail.

She grabbed her bag and walked along to her CoMC class. Her head of house taught it, which meant she would have to actually pay attention. She grimaced at the thought and took a seat at the front of the classroom.

Sookie reluctantly put her hand up when no one else did to answer the question;

"Um, isn't like a grindylow a um, water demon?" She asked.

Vladimir nodded. "Yes, thank you for the answer, Miss Kim, but I'm afraid time has passed by very quickly. 5 points to West Wing dormers; class dismissed." he said, smiling.

He picked up the tank and prepared his things. Vlad left then carefully brought the tank back to his office.
